A 41-year-old man who worked at a Saskatoon school is accused of sexually assaulting five children who were approximately 10 years old, according to police.

Officers received a report of the alleged sexual interference at St. Mary’s Wellness and Education Centre on May 26, the Saskatoon Police Service said in a news release. The offences are believed to have occurred between Sept. 1, 2025, and May 25, 2026.[…]

Court documents obtained by Global News indicate the accused is 41-year-old Hessam Aldin Sahrapour.

Sahrapour is facing five sexual assault charges and five assault charges. He is expected to appear in Saskatoon provincial court Wednesday.

Newsflash: a 7% cost reduction is unlikely to convince any investor to sink money into a port that’s locked in ice for a substantial portion of every year. It’s doubtful the green lobby will like the idea of ships bulldozing polar bears either.

The province say the new tax measure would apply to proposals for a new energy corridor and liquefied natural gas facilities, upgrades to the railway that runs to the port and icebreaking capacity to support year-round shipping.

It was Sunday, October 24, 2021, when 61-year-old Donna confessed to her family that she had been approved for Canada’s assisted-dying programme, officially known as Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).

Her death was scheduled for the following Tuesday – expedited due to her having qualified for Canada’s streamlined ‘Track 1’ pathway, reserved for individuals whose natural death is reasonably foreseeable.

But Donna was not terminally ill, according to her daughters, who insist she was in the midst of a spiralling mental health crisis, triggered by a car accident and exacerbated by the isolation of the Covid-19 lockdown.

But most of all — it offers privacy.

Donna became the first known MAiD death in Canada to be investigated by police.

But the investigation grounded to a halt when the Fraser Health Authority refused to hand over the relevant records – the MAiD assessments themselves – to the police, citing privacy protections.

Having, as she does, a degree in gender studies, Ms Myers is vexed by many things. Such as being asked, kindly, while pregnant, whether she was expecting a boy or a girl. This, we’re informed, is not “a simple question with a simple answer.”

Says she, “My partner Brent and I had found out our child’s sex chromosomes in the early stages of my pregnancy, and we had seen their genitals during the anatomy scan. But we didn’t think that information told us anything about our kid’s gender.”

No, of course. No clues there. No information at all, in fact. Just random noise.

Needless to say, Ms Myers’ website and Twitter feed are an endless churn of unconvincing smiles and rather desperate progressive signalling. We learn, for instance, that “Knowing the sex of a baby… does not tell us anything about the child’s… attitudes toward climate change.”

All this and more.

Brian Lilley recently interviewed Professor Ian Lee who teaches at the Carlton University about Canada’s prospects for winning the trade war with the United States. In a nutshell, we pretty much lost before the war even began.

We’re we’re tariffing a little tiny tiny percentage 25 28 billion of that 400 billion and that 400 billion is 1.5%. So we are tariffing a subset of a subset of a subset of a very tiny number and we have convinced ourselves that this is going to move the needle of this enormous gargantuan economy and it will not.

WAR! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!
