Suicide Nation

Not surprisingly, the Canadian Labour Congress is proposing national bankruptcy as a way to deal with Trump. That should only take about a week to play out.

Cutting off U.S. access to critical Canadian resources—including electricity, lumber, critical minerals, oil, and gas—until the tariffs are lifted.

Naturally, it includes a plea for another pandemic style spending spree:

The federal government has taken a first step by considering income supports for affected workers—an approach that helped stabilize our economy during the pandemic.

Via Cernovich – The judge asked why the White House correspondents association even had the power to control access. White House said, great point. Yeah this isn’t required under any law. Thanks AP!

“I sat next to a drunk Swalwell at dinner for 90 minutes”

Awkward.

He was IMMEDIATELY compromised by a group of lobbyists he’d JUST MET, spilling intimate details about his job and asking for HELP CHEATING ON HIS WIFE.

MASSIVE national security threat. This guy should have his clearances revoked.

Swalwell spent his dinner bragging about “ORGlES” on Capitol Hill, telling them he’s bored of his wife and “only wants to f*ck tens.”

Update: Nick Sorter is on Timcast tonight.

Car Crash Carney

The French language debate between the Liberal leadership candidates last night served to make clear two things: Mark Carney is a drowning accident in progress, and his opponents aren’t there to challenge him in any substantive way but rather to act as sock puppets providing cover for his blunders. Good luck with that.

Carney was asked in English if his command of French is not strong enough to be the Liberal leader.

Carney started answering in French before switching to English.

“You asked me in English, I’ll answer in English. I said that we all were in agreement against Hamas — at least the intention. Ah, no, je suis, I look forward, if I am selected as Liberal leader, I look forward to having a debate avec Yves Françcois Blanchet et Pierre Poilievre,” Carney said, switching to French, before continuing, “I’m sorry, I’ll answer in English. I look forward to having a debate with them, in French.”

Losses Galore

A seldom mentioned phenomenon in these days of monetary madness is the ongoing spectacle of central banks actually losing money. Not a small amount of money either. More like $11 billion per month for the US Federal Reserve alone. But I’m sure that’s nothing to worry about.

Before 2022, the Fed remitted $5 billion to $10 billion per month to the US Treasury; between 2011 and 2021, the Fed’s remittances totaled over $920 billion. Since then, the Fed has run a monthly operating loss between $5 billion and $11 billion per month, and is thus unable to remit any funds to the Treasury. These accumulating Fed losses are classified as a “deferred asset,” a negative liability whose value is the cumulative amount of the earnings shortfall.

About that pipeline…

Keystone XL pipe, in 2011, that was never used. Photo by Brian Zinchuk

Trump calls once again for Keystone XL pipeline to be built

There is no project. There is no company behind it. TransCanada split into two companies. The team scattered to the winds. There is no pipe, and if there is any left, do not let it be put into the ground because it’ll be so rotten it’ll leak like a sieve. And there’s no one making pipe these days at Evraz, although such a project would surely be welcome there.

And why they hell would we lock even more into the American market at a forever discount? If we’re going to build pipe, build it to tidewater.

OR – is this they key to getting Trump to back off on tariffs?

Armstrong Economics- White House COVID Coordinator: Vaccine Was NEVER Meant to Prevent Infection

White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx has come out to say that “the science” has “done wrong in public health.” Vaccine hesitancy rates have been rising since it was exposed that the mRNA vaccine did more harm than good. Birx has admitted that the COVID vaccine was never meant to be a preventative measure.

There has been a resurgence in diseases like the measles as parents are understandably hesitant to vaccinate their children. I, for one, will no longer take the annual flu vaccination.

Seize Their Hard Drives

Sheila Gunn Reid;

According to the government’s records, the National Research Council of Canada, a taxpayer-funded organization supposedly focused on science and technology, handed out $48,700 for a project to create a shaping one-piece and padded bikini top to help trans kids feel more “comfortable” while swimming and doing gymnastics.

Yesterday, in response to Jeffrey A. Tucker’s post, SDA commenter ‘Trodwell’ posted something brilliant:

It’s not just that the voters demanded change. As Elon pointed out so clearly, if the U.S. remains on its present course, it will be bankrupt. There are no “managed bankruptcies” when the defaulter is the world’s largest economy and the global reserve currency. Trump and his cadre aren’t just saving America, they’re physically yanking the rest of the world’s profligate bankruptcies-in-waiting back from the brink and forcing them to follow suit. If the U.S. returns to a semblance of fiscal probity, any nation that fails to do so as well will face absolute ruin. If Trump and his team succeed, this will have been a watershed moment, at least in U.S. history, that could very well have global repercussions and usher in an entirely new era. It’s difficult to imagine an historical parallel. Waterloo and the Congress of Vienna come to mind. So do 1865, 1776, and 1453, though none of those were as global as this could be.

The Dems, the post-modernists, the globalists, the MSM, the would-be destroyers of Western civilization, and the Deep State (BIRM) were worried about “Trump Reloaded”, when what they’re actually facing is “The Trump Revolutions”. Batten down the hatches. Even a bloodless bouleversement can get mighty rocky.
