Go Blue, Boo Hoo

The move of the company’s sales and marketing hub from St. Louis to New York in 2015, several years after Anheuser-Busch was acquired by global giant InBev, has been a point of contention. Some wholesalers have pushed the brewer to move those marketers back to St. Louis, arguing that executives in New York are out of touch with the drinkers of the company’s flagship brands.

From the perspective of the corporation itself, however, the desire to keep a perfect CEI score is what drives these types of ad campaigns. Stakeholder capitalism is global leftism that is using the threat of cutting off investment capital as a way to capture corporations and drive a particular and pernicious collectivist agenda. It’s a type of fascism in the service of global communism. Groups like BlackRock and Vanguard control entire master narratives aimed at undermining a western liberal order, and they have the power to incentivize behavior by either the carrot or the stick. The behavior they wish to incentivize, it is increasingly apparent, is behavior that eventually removes guardrails to individual rights and trains those raised with western sensibilities to become more amenable to a new set of standards by which your betters will run things for you, and you can stop thinking so much, binge your Netflix, and eat your bugs.

Trans-women are real women and 2 + 2 = 5.

Senior members of the SNP are braced for Nicola Sturgeon’s imminent arrest in the wake of detectives interviewing her husband and the party treasurer amid an investigation into party finances.

Senior MPs and MSPs claim it is “inevitable” that the former first minister will be interviewed under caution or as a witness in the coming weeks.

Sturgeon is the only senior SNP official named on the party’s most recent financial accounts who has not been arrested. The former first minister appears on accounts for the 2021-22 financial year as one of three registered officers, alongside Peter Murrell, the former chief executive, and Colin Beattie, the treasurer. It is understood she has not been spoken to by police but has previously said she would “fully co-operate”…

We’d still live in caves, but with really really fancy curtains.

Sometimes a single incident efficiently summarizes a larger trend. So it is with New York University’s selection of its new president, Linda Mills, a licensed clinical social worker and an NYU social work professor. She researches trauma and bias, as well as race and gender in the legal academy. She is a documentary filmmaker and teaches advocacy filmmaking. She serves as an NYU vice chancellor and as a senior vice provost for Global Programs and University Life. In all these roles, Mills is the very embodiment of the contemporary academy. The most significant part of her identity, however, and the one that ties the rest of her curriculum vitae together, is that she is female, and thus overdetermined as NYU’s next president.

Mills is part of the Great Feminization of the American university, an epochal change whose consequences have yet to be recognized. Seventy-five percent of Ivy League presidents are now female. Nearly half of the 20 universities ranked highest by Forbes will have a female president this fall, including MIT, Harvard, and Columbia. Of course, feminist bean-counters in the media and advocacy world are not impressed, noting that “only” 5 percent of the 130 top U.S. research universities are headed by a black female and “only” 22 percent of those federal grant-magnets have a non-intersectional (i.e., white) female head.

Truthfully, I’m not sure we’d have curtains.

Female students and administrators often exist in a co-dependent relationship, united by the concepts of victim identity and of trauma. For university females, there is not, apparently, strength in numbers. The more females’ ranks increase, the more we hear about a mass nervous breakdown on campus. Female students disproportionately patronize the burgeoning university wellness centers, massage therapies, relaxation oases, calming corners, and healing circles.

I quote myself: Militant feminism arose as compensation for female inadequacy.

“Mayor Lori Lightfoot” Is Not The Name Of A DC Comics Character

How bad is she? So bad she’s become the first incumbent Chicago Mayor in 40 years to be ousted.

Paul Vallas and Brandon Johnson will meet in a runoff to be the next mayor of Chicago after voters on Tuesday denied incumbent Lori Lightfoot a second term, issuing a rebuke to a leader who made history as head of the nation’s third-largest city.

Vallas, a former schools CEO backed by the police union, and Johnson, a Cook County commissioner endorsed by the Chicago Teachers Union, advanced to the April 4 runoff after none of the nine candidates was able to secure over 50% of the vote to win outright.

Lightfoot, the first Black woman and first openly gay person to lead the city, won her first term in 2019 after promising to end decades of corruption and backroom dealing at City Hall. But opponents blamed Lightfoot for an increase in crime and criticized her as being a divisive, overly contentious leader.

Good riddance.

A Trudeau diversity hire bites the dust.

Lucki insisted she has “accomplished a lot” with the senior executive team and RCMP employees, including modernizing the force and addressing internal challenges.

“I’m so proud of the steps we’ve taken to modernize – to increase accountability, address systemic racism, ensure a safe and equitable workplace and advance reconciliation with Indigenous peoples,” she said in the statement.

“I leave knowing I did my best and take comfort that the RCMP is well placed to shine in its 150th year.”

In a SHOCKING turn of events, Nicola Sturgeon has resigned as first minister of Scotland. The search is on to replace her with someone even worse.

In a shock decision, Scotland’s longest-serving first minister said she had instructed the Scottish National party (SNP) to begin the process of electing a new leader and would remain in office until her successor is chosen.

Her resignation, which many had suspected could happen nearer the next Holyrood election in 2026, triggered speculation about her successor. Bookmakers quickly tipped Angus Robertson, the SNP’s former Westminster leader and now Sturgeon’s cabinet secretary for culture and external affairs, as the lead candidate.

The SNP leader has had a series of political setbacks recently, including the UK supreme court defeat of her plans for a fresh independence referendum and a damaging row over a double rapist being sent to a female jail after announcing she was a trans woman.

I’m Getting Mixed Messages

Gushing with pretentious sympathy for criminals is so much easier when you have the means to replace any wrecked or stolen items, and when you can afford a therapist to listen to your contradictory outpourings. And when you know your peers will hail you as a “beautiful person” for being so understanding.

Those who have none of the above – and who find the idea of being robbed in their homes by people armed with carving knives somewhat objectionable – are mentioned only in passing.

JK Rowling draws and quarters.

She tweeted: ‘So in Nicola Sturgeon’s Scotland, trans women AREN’T women if they’re convicted double rapists, like Adam ‘Isla Bryson’ Graham.

‘However, trans woman and paedophile Katie Dolatowski, who covertly filmed a 12-year-old and attempted to rape a 10-year-old, both offences committed in women’s public bathrooms, IS a woman and remains in the women’s prison from which Adam Graham is to be removed.’
