  1. From the beginning , it seemed like lunacy to immediately go to war with your best customer. Unless of course it keeps you in power. Well, it seems to me our present governments greatest accomplishment has been to manipulate a majority government.         It’s no different than the manipulation that occurred during the Nixon years.
        The media’s sole objective was making Nixon out to be Satan.
        It kept the voters focused on that instead of the mess Trudeau was responsible for.
        Once Nixon was out of office Trudeau knew he couldn’t get elected and stepped down.

  33. Sorry Beatles haters … but I’ve been spinning some of my Beatles and Beatles adjacent music today and was just blown away by the SUPERB sound of my 1981 Columbia Half Speed Mastered copy of Band on The Run.

    The lp was Engineered by famous Geoff Emerick … and wow … was he good. The sound is sharp, detailed and each instrument and voice is in perfect balance. It’s giving me chills. This particular slab of vinyl is amazing … as good as the very best I own. 1980’s audiophile pressings were superb.

    And of course … the title tune is always sweet when I get to see Jimmy McCulloch play guitar …

  36. And yeah … I got into my Japanese Odeon remastered Beatles lp’s too. Which are among the very BEST vinyl I own. I’ve got all the Odeon remasters in this series … collected individually. Yeah, I wish I had the full original box set … but I am actually more about the sound than all the other accoutrements.
