Reconcilliation
What’s the lesson here? To not even try?
Janelle Pewapsconias recorded a video of the performance Saturday night at Folkfest in Saskatoon and posted it on her Facebook page. It shows Ukrainian dancers, some wearing headdressess, performing a routine which includes sections similar to powwow dancing.
In a statement, the Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble said the piece, called “Canadian Kaleidoscope,” has been performed internationally and in Saskatoon since 2003. The dance group said the performance was meant to promote inclusivity, not disrespect Indigenous culture.
Rural Crime Watch
This is welcome news in rural Saskatchewan.
The team will consist of 258 armed officers with arrest and detention powers, including:
- 120 police officers from RCMP and municipal police services
- 60 police positions currently deployed to the Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan Initiative
- 30 new police positions and 30 repurposed police positions currently funded by the Ministry of Justice
- 40 Ministry of Highways commercial vehicle enforcement officers with expanded powers
- 98 Ministry of Environment conservation officers
Some are more equal than others
Consider this fact — in the past two fiscal years, Quebec has collected more revenue from natural resources than Alberta. This reality, which may be stunning to some, is symbolic of a broader trend where provinces that receive equalization payments have generally seen their ability to generate revenue improve more than provinces that do not receive payments.

When The Democrats Do It, That Means That It’s Not Illegal
One of the attorneys general who has sought probes against the Trump administration has accepted large individual campaign donations from an energy tycoon with connections to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has accepted more than $60,000 in small donations from Leonard Blavatnik, a Ukrainian-born energy billionaire with ties to Russian oligarchs, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation examination of the Democrat’s financial disclosure reports.
Be Sure To Visit The Washington Monument While You Still Can
A monument to Christopher Columbus that was over 200 years old was smashed with a sledgehammer Monday morning to combat a “culture of white supremacy.”
A YouTube channel titled “Popular Resistance” posted footage of men in hoodies destroying a monument to Columbus and his famous voyage in 1492. The individuals carried signs that read “Racism: Tear it down,” and “The future is racial and economic justice.”
The Baltimore Brew, an independent website run by veteran journalists, first reported on the crime, which took place near Herring Run Park.

And out of the spin cycle:
On Monday, Mr. Butts argued in 15-part twitter thread that Mr. Sarkar’s pay is in line with three others the Liberals have recruited for diplomatic posts from outside government – but the only one on the list in a comparable position as a consul-general, Phyllis Yaffe, earns significantly less.

Houston park ranger spoils left-wing terrorist attack
Obviously the smartest of the bunch.
Schneck was arrested Saturday night after a Houston park ranger spotted him kneeling in bushes in front of the Dowling monument in the park, Martinez said.
When confronted Saturday night in the park, he tried to drink some of the liquid explosives but spit it out, officials said.
Known to authorities….
Schneck was let off probation in 2016. At the time, his lawyers noted his “‘exemplary character,” saying he’d “matured and his focus is no longer concentrated on high-risk activities,” court documents show.
Residents living on Albans Road, between Hazard and Wilton streets, were urged 10 a.m. to leave their homes, according to an emergency alert from the city of Houston. Decision was made “out of an abundance of caution,” said Larry Satterwhite, an assistant Houston police chief who oversees the Homeland Security Command.

Let alone the “humans” that park in the spots with no permit.
The Downfall of Western Society
To start off your week on the right note, here’s a great discussion between Bill O’Reilly and Adam Carolla about the entitled millenials and fascist leftists who have taken over college campuses.
For dessert, listen to Carolla pick apart the vacuous mind of a UCLA professor who tried to stop Dennis Prager from conducting the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra.
Bring on the Martians!
For more than half a year, we have seen a non-stop barrage of “news” reports that Russia has corrupted the American political process and more than a few people in the Trump administration. Now, all of a sudden, we’re being told that there are Nazis everywhere – be very, very scared!
If the MSM started reporting that Martians have infiltrated high offices in the U.S. government, using mind control to hide their identity, how many Democrat supporters would believe it? No less than 75% I suspect.
