Dinesh D’Souza talk of fascism.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRdxyVkzwbM
D’Souza is explaining how fascism and socialism are fellow travellers.
Regarding my comment from yesterday: It’s unreasonable to expect the average person to keep their computers and routers secure.

Best of luck Kate and stay safe.
Fascism and socialism as well as being fellow travelers are also enemies of freedom.
Here’s the link I posted yesterday, for those that missed it:
That link is four years old, references routers you can’t buy any more, and most of the attacks have to originate inside the network to be successful – in other words, the attacker has to be connected to your router from inside your home, or connected to your wifi already (yes, there’s some browser based hijacks that can leverage that, but they only work if you’re not using antivirus software).
I disagree that it’s unreasonable to expect the average person to secure their computer and their router. It isn’t hard, there are guides all over the place, and even if you don’t want to do it yourself, you can’t throw a rock without hitting some OEM whitebox PC shop that will do it for you for $50.
The real issue is that people who are more than capable of handling complex mechanical devices every day, or memorizing decades worth of sports stats, suddenly throw their hands in the air and make spurbly-burbly noises with their lips as soon as “computors” are mentioned. It’s purely psychological.
Thanks Kate, however the Snow Waltz link connects us to a blog about the Las Vegas Shooting.

Daniel, you make some good points about an older article and the hack potential of those particular bugs. But I’m far from convinced that the current crop of routers is very secure.
Consultants and experts who study consumer routers don’t have a very positive view of them. Here’s a very well-documented page (despite its less-than-desirable formatting), with links to a lot of other interesting sites.
https://www.routersecurity.org/consumerrouters.php
If the manufacturers don’t care about security (see the quote from Tim Higgins at the bottom of that page), then how can the average person hope to put together a secure network?

Much of the time a deleted comment is the result of a technical glitch or some small filter issue. I have posted very innocuous comments that have gotten filtered. Just wait, it may show up. In other cases, a moderator must be careful about posting something for which they could get sued. I doubt your comment was deleted just because lance did not agree — There is a wide range of comments here and I am sure he/kate do not agree with all of them.
I have the power to delete his comments, so do any of the guest bloggers here.
Thanks Lance for cleaning up the mess in Aisle 6. It was starting to stink, …actually it had been for a while.

Who let the dogs in? Guess the Party?
Abdulahi Hasan Sharif made a refugee claim at a Canadian border crossing in 2012 and obtained refugee status later that year.
I hadn’t heard about Justin forgetting about the Jews. But maybe it was to be expected?
And if they tried to keep him out, there would have been anguished crying from angry little babies screaming that Conservatives were heartless, evil racists, and then demands that he be let in.
Guess that party.
Typical leftard, they create and promote these irresponsible policies then blame Conservatives for having to live with them.

There’s something extremely odd about the Vegas shooter’s brother : https://hooktube.com/watch?v=SPZFN6VFFow. Seriously what a bizarre guy. There’s no way this guy knows nothing about this.
The first mistake everyone makes is assuming that security is binary – that there’s “secure” and “insecure”. There isn’t. It’s a spectrum and a tradeoff, between what you’re willing to spend and how hard you want to make it for people to get into your IT assets. If you spend

On Monday, we broadcast a video about the new Holocaust monument in Ottawa. We showed you the bizarre plaque commemorating the Holocaust — that never once mentioned Jews or anti-Semitism.
And neither does the official government website.
That’s really weird.
That video was seen thousands of times, and shared on Facebook and Twitter, and by Tuesday, made its way to Question Period in the House of Commons, where the Conservative MP David Sweet asked the Liberals about this bizarre decision.

“Environment Canada (EC) misled the country on global warming, which caused massive unnecessary expenditures, cost thousands of jobs, destroyed businesses and industries, and devastated communities at all levels.
Meanwhile, their forecast accuracy beyond 48 hours has not improved; they abandoned medium forecasts (three months to one year) after results that were worse than a coin toss; and all long-term forecasts since 1990, based on their membership in the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), were wrong.
John Christy presented the evidence in his congressional testimony (Figure 1).”

Not when you think about the strong pro-Muslim nature of the Trudeau government. Not only do they have a lot of Muslims in their caucus, but they seem to be courting the Muslim vote with things like M-103 and favouring Muslims over Christians for immigration. Looks like they made a mistake this time, though.

Nice, glad to see the Spud get roasted by our home and native natives.
That said, NOTHING will satisfy the natives, nothing, except us all leaving this country for elsewhere, so they can resume their previous, perfect cultural lifestyle.
Although they might be okay with us being they’re slaves too. In a way we already are, as they extort more money out of governments, as their societal dysfunction continues. And TruDOPE thinks that showering the natives with Billions, will make them LUV him. Schaudenfraude!
It’s never enough for the natives, even PM PomPom may eventually learn that.
