The new priesthood gathers to plot their next move.

The Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) is strategizing on how to counteract the million-person march Wednesday.

On September 11, OFL President Patty Coates sent an email to the OFL executive board, executive council, union heads, committees, coalitions, and community partners.

Its notice read, “Urgent Action Required: Rapid Response to September 20th Canada-Wide (anti-sexual minority) Protests.”

The email warned, “the ultra-conservative right have planned nationwide events to protest teaching (sexual minority) content in schools under the guise of protecting children.”

Although the rallying cry is entitled, “A day to unite all religions in the defence of children against (sexual minority) indoctrination in Canadian schools,” Coates took a different view.

“We know that far from protecting students this will hurt them in so many ways,” she wrote.

“In this time of unprecedented hate and emboldened anger against so many people, it is time now, more than ever, for labour to show up as allies to protect targets of hate and bigotry wherever they may be.”

Florida State University criminology professor Eric Stewart was a guru of the claim that “systemic racism” infests America’s police and American society.

Now he’s out of a job on account of “extreme negligence” in his research.

The academic was fired after almost 20 years of his data — including figures used in an explosive study, which claimed the legacy of lynchings made whites perceive blacks as criminals, and that the problem was worse among conservatives — were found to be in question.

College authorities said he was being fired for “incompetence” and “false results.”

Among the studies he has had to retract were claims that whites wanted longer sentences for blacks and Latinos.

We reported how Shivanthi Sathanandan, the Second Vice Chair of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, said in a Facebook post that she had been carjacked and beaten in front of her young children in the driveway of her Minneapolis home. She said that she had sustained a broken leg, as well as other cuts and bruises. Then she ranted about the attackers, whom she described as four young armed men, and demanded that they needed to be held accountable for their actions.

Sathanandan thanked the police in her Facebook post about the attack. That seemed to be a big change of heart, given that she had previously called for the dismantling of the Minneapolis Police Department in 2020 during the BLM riots. It’s important to understand that businesses were being destroyed and people were being killed, while she was advocating this.

It gets better.

Forty-four percent of Democrats surveyed “strongly agreed” that public four-year colleges and universities are for people like them, according to Varying Degrees 2023, the nonprofit New America’s seventh annual higher education survey.

Only 21 percent of surveyed Republicans “strongly agreed.”

Sarah Lawrence College political science Professor Samuel Abrams said he believes the findings are in part due to political polarization.

Polarization “is the phenomenon where individuals’ feelings and emotions towards members of their own political party or group become more positive, while their feelings towards members of the opposing party or group become more negative,” Abrams told The College Fix via email.

Because of left-leaning polarization in colleges and universities, “those on the right are increasingly disliked and viewed as enemies when they are on campuses today,” said Abrams, a fellow at the right-leaning American Enterprise Institute.

In one case, Apple removed with no warning and no explanation Glenn Beck’s podcast from their platform, and in the other Scott Adams announced that Amazon has permanently banned him from self-publishing his books on their Kindle platform.

I was not going to write about Oliver Anthony’s brilliant song, Rich Men North of Richmond, because I have nothing worthy to add. The video puts all other commentary to shame. North of Richmond refers to the federal government, which is too large, too powerful and too uncaring.

But Mark Antonio Wright, executive editor of the Never Trump National Review, butted in with a Learn-to-Code column attacking Anthony for daring to complain about DC’s treatment of the working class. It lectured Anthony to be more like Woody Guthrie, the Nazi apologist and communist.

Anthony’s song says:

I’ve been sellin’ my soul, workin’ all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay
So I can sit out here and waste my life away
Drag back home and drown my troubles away

Wright responded, “My brother in Christ, you live in the United States of America in 2023 — if you’re a fit, able-bodied man, and you’re working ‘overtime hours for bullshit pay,’ you need to find a new job.”

The Senate intelligence report actually found that “most of the videos” put up by Moscow “pertained to police brutality and the activist efforts of the Black Lives Matter organization”.

The Russians had created their own Black Lives Matter groups, activists and protests. Their favorite ‘Black Russian’ hate groups included Marxists who under their “gender non-conforming” leader marched through Atlanta shouting, “Kill the police! To get free, you’ve got to kill the pigs.”

Not to be outdone, the People’s Republic of China decided to join the fun by paying black nationalists to organize rallies against a ban on solar panels produced by its slave laborers.

In a historical irony, black nationalists went out to protest in defense of slavery.

Decolonialization is just a fancy word for “paint a target on their back”.

“The Blaze” notes that over the weekend, South Africa’s Marxist-Leninist political party, the Economic Freedom Fighters, held their 10th anniversary celebration. Along with singing the praises of Vladimir Putin, party leader Julius Malema led the crowd in a chant: “Dubul’ ibhunu” or, “Shoot to kill, kill the Boer, kill the farmer.” If you did not know, “Boer” refers to the white Dutch settlers who came to South Africa. Specifically, “Boer” means farmer in Afrikaans and Dutch. The reference is to white people.

But don’t call it genocide. That would be racist.
