How Many Deaths Is Walt Disney Responsible For Worldwide?

If no cougars are ever seen, it’s a sign of global warming.
If a cougar is spotted in the city, it’s because urbanization and development have stolen it’s habitat.
If they shoot the cougar, it was a heartbreaking and senseless loss.
If they don’t shoot the cougar and it hurts someone, it’s humanities’ fault for incringing on it’s territory.
And no matter what happens, as it states in the article, the union will claim it’s chronically understaffed.

Oh, Frack!

Landmark Fracking Study Finds No Water Pollution;

The final report from a landmark federal study on hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, found no evidence that chemicals or brine water from the gas drilling process moved upward to contaminate drinking water at a site in western Pennsylvania.
The Department of Energy report, released Monday, was the first time an energy company allowed independent monitoring of a drilling site during the fracking process and for 18 months afterward. After those months of monitoring, researchers found that the chemical-laced fluids used to free gas stayed about 5,000 feet below drinking water supplies.
Scientists used tracer fluids, seismic monitoring and other tests to look for problems, and created the most detailed public report to date about how fracking affects adjacent rock structures.

Mann Down

In an almost equally horrendous setback for climate alarmism, Climate Change – The Musical is closing. It was funded by the National Science Foundation – ie, your tax dollars. But no doubt it was all part of a scientific experiment to determine the quickest way to lose three-quarters of a million bucks. They’d have been better off doing Little Orphan Mannie, in which the cherubic moppet sings “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without A Tree-Ring”.

I grew up in rural Saskatchewan the 50’s, listening to early morning radio while we waited for the school bus. This song blended in well with a bowl of porridge on a cold January morning. It was number one on the charts in 1961, in Canada, the USA and most of the UK.

This seems an appropriate evening to post it: Here’s Andy Stewart, joined by the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, performing his signature song A Scottish Soldier.
