She directed scheduling for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, worked at Michael Bloomberg’s Hawkfish, provided strategic consulting to the Biden campaign in 2020, and has deep Bloomberg network ties. As a non-Canadian, she is barred from Top Secret clearance — yet she is now Carney’s top deputy with unclear access to sensitive material. There was no official announcement on the PMO website

Her path to Ottawa runs through the climate-finance web Carney co-chaired (GFANZ with Bloomberg), Gerald Butts (now advising alongside Carney’s wife at Eurasia Group), John Podesta, and recent private gatherings involving Barack Obama, Alex Soros, Huma Abedin, and senior Canadian officials. These are the same networks that have long treated Canada as a friendly base for opposing a Republican White House

The Obama Presidential Center was billed as a lasting legacy to former President Barack Obama, and its construction was touted as an ambitious model built with aggressive goals for minority-owned and local businesses.

But now, some of the very subcontractors who helped build the 19.3-acre campus on Chicago’s South Side say they are facing financial ruin as they race to recover millions of dollars they claim remain unpaid ahead of the center’s grand opening Friday. Overall construction costs were reported to be $830 million in 2021, and have likely climbed past the $1 billion mark.

A Fox News Digital investigation identified multiple construction firms claiming losses ranging from hundreds of thousands of dollars to tens of millions. The allegations cut against one of the Center’s defining goals: helping minority-owned businesses and local contractors grow through one of Chicago’s highest-profile construction projects. Several of the complaints reviewed by Fox News Digital come from firms that were supposed to benefit from that mission.

If there’s an analog in American history, I can’t think of it.

Liberal Leader Mark Carney, who despite suggesting on Monday that he’d take part in TVA’s French-language leaders debate, his campaign is reportedly saying he won’t.

“Liberal Leader Mark Carney will not participate in the TVA ‘Face à Face‘ debate, as per his campaign,” wrote Global Parliament Hill reporter Mackenzie Gray.
