This Paul Martin fella coveted power,back stabbed,divided his party, eventually pushed Chretch out, grabbed power, then pfttt, he didn’t know what to do with it. He and his Liberal party, in power with majorities for decades did squat for the Indians beyond something called the Kelowna Accord in his last frenetic effort to hold power.
Failed Liberals just can’t go away gracefully. We have another example in Ontario called Dalton McGuinty, can’t seem to just go away, has to return with a controversy, a lobbyist to lobby for a company his government did business with now to lobby his former cohorts. That’s tops on the sleaze factor scale.

These are the politicians that keep turning up from one coroner store to another, ofter their best date has been over for years. Just waiting for someone to stupid to notice, to buy them up to be poisoned.

Paul Martin will become an Honorary Chief and given the name Grand Chief Walking Eagle in Saskatoon.
A news reporter from CBC later asked one of the Indians how they came to select the new name given to Paul Martin.
They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of sh-t that it can no longer fly.

Just goes to prove that crime is obsessive compulsive behavior.

I recall this goof’s last futile attempt to win a general election. A coupla days before the election, at an assembly in Whitby, desperately, he announced his intent to ban “handguns” Canada wide.

I bet he could dramatically reduce the deficit to recover from the spending spree of the last conservative government, only to lose power to another conservative government that would immediately drive it back up.

My lasting impression of paul martin was in his unenlightened role as U2 groupie in a leather jacket attempting air guitar.
Enlightening in that finally even the densest of low info voters could see just what a lowlife fool he really was.

bob; are you both young and naive or just young or just naive? If you are not young then the statement you made means you are a card carrying Librano or recognizing having this membership card after paying for it means you are not too bright, as they are normally given away.
If you are young then talk to a grown-up who does not directly benefit from having a Librano insider role to offset the mucho taxes grown-ups have paid over the many decades of spendthrift Librano Governments.

Martin did reduce the deficit by cutting payments big time to the provinces from the federal gov’t and he raided the Unemployment insurance fund which was worker’s money not government money. Harper has now made the raiding of the UI fund illegal.
