Either Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the stupidest person in Washington, DC or she’s a liar:

“AOC wasn’t even in the Capitol building where all the action was going down. If she was in her office, she was in the Cannon Building which is nearby, but a different building. But of course, many didn’t get the logistics and just assumed that she was in the Capitol building.

According to Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who has an office in the same hall as AOC, two doors away, there were never any rioters in their hall so there was never any physical danger from rioters coming in at any point.”

And what about the guy who came to her room?  Well, that was true–except that it was hired security protecting her because politicians get special armed protection all the time while they are at work that you do not get.  But, don’t worry.  For good measure, she would later denigrate him in order to appeal to her ‘defund the police’ base

Joe Biden has begun staffing a commission that would examine reforming the Supreme Court and the federal court system. The commission will supposedly be bipartisan, but we all know which side will be in the majority.

Biden floated the idea of a commission to study reforming the Supreme Court during the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett. At that time, the radical left was advocating to put more justices on the court to flip its ideological makeup to make it friendlier to the radical liberal social agenda.

In the same way that much of the mainstream media has defended the corrupt hedge funds, so will the same talking heads defend this court packing.

Abraham Lincoln. Dianne Feinstein. George Washington. Paul Revere.

These names are among ones that must be removed from public schools because of their ties to slavery, oppression, or racism, San Francisco school board officials decided by a 6-1 vote on Tuesday night.

More than a third of the district’s 125 schools made the list of objectionable names, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. Schools will have until April to offer new names, which will then be voted on by board members.

The new namesakes must adhere to a set of guidelines, including that individuals proposed must not have been slave owners or abetted in slavery or genocide, violated human rights violations, or be “known racists and/or white supremacists.

Nearly 40% of their budget is funded by natural gas and oil production. The Canadian equivalent of this would be the hordes of government workers in Edmonton voting to shut down the oil industry. Doesn’t bother them because they’re of the belief that they’ll keep on getting paid no matter how much their fellow Albertans suffer. But such selfish, narrow minded views could only come from the the same people that believe that solar panels and wind farms will provide everyone with sufficient energy. How can one cure such abject stupidity?!

We’ll believe it when we see it but interim Seattle police chief Adrian Diaz claims that his department, in coordination with Seattle city attorney Pete Holmes, will actually start enforcing the law:

“I have been in conversation with the city attorney’s office, Pete Holmes, and he will be prosecuting these cases, from now on,” Diaz told reporters. “He has actually allowed us to have the support of his staff, to assist and review of those cases as they occur, so they can be prosecuted to the fullest extent.”

“When we don’t have any form of accountability for people — and many of them that are coming from outside the city — they will continue to do that destruction, and we can’t have that,” Diaz said.

A cynic might say that a small Twitter mob chastising the incompetent, ineffectual Mr. Holmes will quickly put a stop to any & all such actions.  After all, this is the same Pete Holmes who prompted a judge to retire early for “daring” to convict a 70-time time repeat offender.

The New York Times reportedly canceled an editor’s contract after she tweeted that she had ‘chills’ watching Joe Biden land at Joint Base Andrews the day before the inauguration and slammed Trump for not sending him a government plane.  

Lauren Wolfe tweeted on Tuesday: ‘Biden landing at Joint Base Andrews now. I have chills.

‘The pettiness of the Trump admin not sending a military plane to bring him to D.C. as is tradition is mortifying. 

‘Childish,’ she wrote. 

HuffPost contributor Yashar Ali tweeted later that he had been told by two sources Wolfe had her contract ended over it.

Years ago I went on one date with a woman in Vancouver. The entire time she was wearing leather gloves, including when we went indoors to have a coffee. I thought this a bit odd but said nothing. Later in the date, while we were walking, she suddenly burst out in tears and in the voice of what sounded like a 10 year old girl, exclaimed, “How come Forrest Gump gets so much attention but not me?!” If you think I’m making any of this up or exaggerating, you would be incorrect. Suffice to say, Vancouver women can be a bit … different.

Fast forward to modern day San Francisco and we get this gem from one Madeline Wells:

Maybe before the pandemic, the act of blowing out candles on a birthday cake seemed harmless enough. But with COVID-19 turning us all into a bunch of germaphobes (rightly so), it’s now impossible to brush off that horrid little study from 2017 that found blowing out birthday candles increases cake bacteria by 1,400% (!!).

Call me a killjoy, call me a germaphobe. Maybe I am one — I’ve been carrying around a little bottle of hand sanitizer with me everywhere I go since the third grade. But I get it: I love and miss birthday parties, too, and you can bet I will be attending as many as possible as soon as it’s safe.

No, Ms. Wells, we aren’t all a “bunch of germaphobes”.  You are, in fact, mentally ill and seriously need to get help from a psychiatrist to get past your lifelong phobia.  While you think that your privileged soapbox accords you the right to spread your personal fears to parents and little children, what you’ve actually done is just inject more fear and depression into the already freaked out SF Bay population.

Note to readers: At the time of this writing, we have not definitively determined whether Ms. Wells is comfortable kissing  a man/woman/other (she went to UC Berkeley so we want to cover all bases).

This revelation seems very strange:

President Biden has revoked a Trump-era executive order that sought to keep foreign countries and companies out of America’s bulk power systems – principally entities associated with the Chinese Communist Party – as part of his “Executive Order on Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis.”

Is it okay to question this decision of Dear Leader, especially given multiple allegations of financial ties between him & his family and the Chinese Communist Party? If the answer is ‘No’, then is it ever okay to question the decisions of Dear Leader? Asking for a friend.
