Either Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the stupidest person in Washington, DC or she’s a liar:

“AOC wasn’t even in the Capitol building where all the action was going down. If she was in her office, she was in the Cannon Building which is nearby, but a different building. But of course, many didn’t get the logistics and just assumed that she was in the Capitol building.

According to Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who has an office in the same hall as AOC, two doors away, there were never any rioters in their hall so there was never any physical danger from rioters coming in at any point.”

And what about the guy who came to her room?  Well, that was true–except that it was hired security protecting her because politicians get special armed protection all the time while they are at work that you do not get.  But, don’t worry.  For good measure, she would later denigrate him in order to appeal to her ‘defund the police’ base

I have compared her to Elena Ceausescu and Jiang Qing, but I am tempted to take that back, because both those tyrannical first ladies showed more guts when they were facing their end. If AOC was in their places, she would probably be a pathetic blubbering heap rather than showing defiance.

  21. Let’s suppose AOC did mistake security for rioters.

    She would have found out quickly afterwards that rioters never breached the Cannon Building, and thus she was safe the entire time. That’s something to joke about, not stretch into some harrowing story of her life being in jeopardy, and then accuse Cruz of trying to have her killed.
