It appears that the New York Times has fired an editor for being partisan with her tweets:
The New York Times reportedly canceled an editor’s contract after she tweeted that she had ‘chills’ watching Joe Biden land at Joint Base Andrews the day before the inauguration and slammed Trump for not sending him a government plane.
Lauren Wolfe tweeted on Tuesday: ‘Biden landing at Joint Base Andrews now. I have chills.
‘The pettiness of the Trump admin not sending a military plane to bring him to D.C. as is tradition is mortifying.
‘Childish,’ she wrote.
HuffPost contributor Yashar Ali tweeted later that he had been told by two sources Wolfe had her contract ended over it.

“Since Biden was inaugurated on Wednesday and even before then, some media outlets have relaxed their impartiality to welcome him and his administration with open arms.”
Make no mistake, we can expect another 40 years of “relaxed their impartiality” after the past 40 years of no enemies to the left
Funny how none of these brave firefighters thought to ask why old Amtrac Joe didn’t come by Train.
I suspect that there were other reasons for her termination because if that was evidence of unacceptable bias at the NYT, there would be no one left to turn out the lights. Perhaps they are having difficulties in making the shift to playing defense from offense when it comes to the administration. Going from pure resistance and conspiracy mongering to total blindness, forward blocking, and promotion including perfecting the softball questions is quite an adjustment.
Others have said the same thing about this leftard, Wolfe. I imagine there will be cost cutting at these propaganda outlets now that they don’t have President Trump around to demonize by projection. It turns out that Bidumb preferred to take his own plane into the the Den of Communists, so not only was Wolfie girl tingling with excitement, she was wrong.
A man in the park was eating an ice cream cone.
Shortly afer he raped a 13 y.o. girl.
NYT headline: MAN IS ARRESTED FOR EATING ICE CREAM IN PARK
John Chittick is right as usual. Absolutely no way was she fired because of that tweet.
Don’t “journalists” get fired for just plain envelope incompetence? No, they lie to Americans for years to win Pulitzer prizes.
To be fair, it was a chilly 11 degrees that day.
NYTimes spokesperson when asked to comment by a journalist –“For privacy reasons we don’t get into the details of personnel matters, but we can say that we didn’t end someone’s employment over a single tweet. Out of respect for the individuals involved, we don’t plan to comment further.”
There’s always a story behind the story and I doubt we’ll ever hear the real reasons.
And really, who would care?
Useful Idiot is no longer useful.
Not really progress. Just like Robespierre’s execution wasn’t really progress.
Just the left trying to consolidate power.
The msm will have to thrown a few of their own under the bus in an attempt to prove that the new media realizes they went to far and now want to be more fair and balanced.
As always, don’t believe the simple comment. There is more to it, but we are just not allowed to know
Good. Who cares why. A leftist shrill loses her job and we should all celebrate and ask for more.
The New York Times denies she was fired for her tweets, which makes sense because her tweets weren’t the type that would get the NYT upset.
It appears that the timing of the tweets and her firing were simply coincidental.
