Americans are receiving repeated lessons in how the insanity of a totalitarian woke mob quickly destroys their history and every semblance of common sense. The latest episode is occurring in San Francisco:
Abraham Lincoln. Dianne Feinstein. George Washington. Paul Revere.
These names are among ones that must be removed from public schools because of their ties to slavery, oppression, or racism, San Francisco school board officials decided by a 6-1 vote on Tuesday night.
More than a third of the district’s 125 schools made the list of objectionable names, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. Schools will have until April to offer new names, which will then be voted on by board members.
The new namesakes must adhere to a set of guidelines, including that individuals proposed must not have been slave owners or abetted in slavery or genocide, violated human rights violations, or be “known racists and/or white supremacists.
Well I hope all the new George Floyd schools are numbered as well. We don’t want to confuse the kiddies.

How about Curly, Larry, Moe, Groucho, Harp, Chico, Zeppo, Happy, Dopey Sneezy Sleepy, Grumpy, Bashful, Doc, Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, Hermes, Ares, Hephaestus, Juno, Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, Demeter, and Hestia for a start? I know, I know, they’re all white, but using those as school names makes as much sense as anything San Francisco’s school board is likely to choose.

These people may be evil, but they’re not stupid. They’re simply changing history, changing the language, removing certain problematic words from the vocabulary. If there are no words to describe your thoughts, it becomes impossible to describe your thoughts, it becomes impossible to think those thoughts. Try to imagine a color that doesn’t exist and then describe to me what that color looks like. It can’t be done. It’s straight out of 1984 – who controls the past controls the future, who controls the present controls the past.

Oh! And on the morning news … the office vacancy rate in SF is something like 16.7% … higher than during the 2008 recession and the 1999 dot.bomb crash. Shocking!

The SF Public School system has been sh*t since at least the 1980’s. Parents who want a good education for their kids and cannot afford privates schools move out of the City. That’s why there are so few kids left in San Francisco. Terrible public schools. By this stage the majority of white kids and almost one third of Asian kids left in SF go to private schools. Those kids in the public system either cannot afford private, have clueless white parents (the kids eventually are taken out) or else very poor or on welfare. Public schools in SF have been shutting down for decades due to collapsing enrollment. Quite a few bought by Asians and turned into private schools.
The only purpose of the SF school district is to provide jobs for the administrators, the school ancillary staff and the mostly very mediocre teachers. No other reason for its existence. Almost 20 years ago someone was brought in to turn around the terrible quality of the education and teachers in the city schools. They were soon driven out of the job by the teachers union. So wall to wall mediocrity ever since. Hence the current School Board. No competent sane person would even think of running for the school board so you end up with genuinely deeply stupid people like Matt Gonzales running the show.

BADR-Good one! Had not heard that. City councils have got to be right up there, though. Edmonton city council recently approved renaming its electoral wards. A couple of examples: Ward 3 is now tastawiyiniwak. Ward 10 has become Ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi. Not hard to see why the indigenous peoples had no written language. They still don’t. Imagine being the receptionist tasked with answering the phone for the councilor of Ward Ipiihkoohkanipiaohtsi! And these clowns are tasked with running a city???
When Edmonton’s silly council ruled that it was OK for illegal immigrants to avail themselves of municipal services while they “waited” for their documents, I called my ward alderthingy.
I never spoke with that person, but, instead, had a chat with the receptionist. She was equally as spaced out as our councillors, trotting out the usual SJW cliches about the illegals being in “danger” if they were returned to their home countries.
She completely ignored what I said when I told her that my parents and I came to this country through the front door and were fully prepared to pay our own way, not mooch off the government. Maybe she figured that we had some sort of unearned privilege.
My faith in municipal politics was shattered after that conversation ended. Why bother voting for any of them when they can make arbitrary decisions about the city without consulting the electorate?
It all looks so much like a replay of 1917 Russia that it would be funny if it weren’t so sad.
