That concept is traumatic invalidation. I realized that for Jewish people right now, there is a compound trauma effect, where a lot of us are still feeling the stress of the war, and worried about our loved ones at home, and carry the secondary trauma from October 7, from seeing those horrific pictures and all the horrors, but also the response that we’re getting from the environment around us.
The concept of traumatic invalidation is when someone is denying your pain, or focusing on the other side. Basically, controlling the narrative, ignoring you, not paying attention to your own thoughts, or telling you what to feel or how to act. I didn’t invent the concept of traumatic invalidation. It’s a known phenomenon in the trauma world, but no one ever applied it to the Jewish community, which is basically what I did in the research.
At the height of the Great Awokening in 2021, [Gina] Carano posted that the then-current political climate — where people are hated for their political views — had a historical parallel in the Nazi Party’s efforts to make Germans hate their neighbors simply for being Jewish. To prove her point, critics launched a “#FireGinaCarano” campaign. As cowardly woke corporations so often do, Disney and Lucasfilm quickly caved to the pressure and fired Carano from her role in The Mandalorian.
It was a textbook example of how swiftly the online left-wing social media mob could mobilize to destroy someone for holding dissenting opinions — cancel culture, if you will. By bowing to that mob, Disney and Lucasfilm only emboldened it.
Not only that, but by firing Carano, both studios exposed themselves as massive hypocrites. Lucasfilm described her posts as “abhorrent and unacceptable” when she was removed. Conveniently unmentioned? Mandalorian co-star Pedro Pascal’s tweets comparing Trump supporters to Nazis, and another post with “#ThisIsAmerica” beneath an image he believed depicted U.S. immigration enforcement, but which was instead a photo from the West Bank. Beyond the fact that Pascal, lacking basic awareness, misrepresented the image entirely, the fact that he kept his job highlighted Disney’s ever-changing enforcement.
Somebody make it stop.

DC police commander placed on leave over ‘deliberately’ falsifying crime data;
The police union has accused Pulliam of deliberately falsifying the data, and claimed that police supervisors in the department have been manipulating crime data to make it seem as though violent crime has fallen considerably in the district compared to 2024.
Fraternal Order of Police Chairman Gregg Pemberton said, “When our members respond to the scene of a felony offense where there is a victim reporting that a felony occurred, inevitably there will be a lieutenant or a captain that will show up on that scene and direct those members to take a report for a lesser offense. So, instead of taking a report for a shooting or a stabbing or a carjacking, they will order that officer to take a report for a theft or an injured person to the hospital or a felony assault, which is not the same type of classification.”
Pemberton said that command staff at the department is focusing on two categories to get the numbers down: injured person to the hospital and armed with a dangerous weapon.

The City of Charlottetown also cited public safety concerns in revoking its permit. Moncton did the same, saying in a statement, “the concert would be non-compliant with the City’s Code of Conduct in City Facilities” – which ironically enough prohibits discrimination based on religious belief.
Maybe one of the reasons there is so much crime and violence on the streets of Cincinnati is because they have this absolute moron as their Police Chief?

1) You canceled our permit for a peaceful outdoor worship gather for no reason.
2) You threatened a CHURCH on private property to not have church.
3) You send a battalion of police to intimidate us.
4) Antifa throws 2 smoke bombs at my head inside the church – you do nothing!
5) Now you want fine the church for doing what the church does – WORSHIP.Every Canadian should be embarrassed/concerned with this. No bigger scandal in Canada.
