  1. A Florida couple who claimed a fertility clinic error led to the woman giving birth to a “non-Caucasian child” who was not related to them said they have identified their child’s biological parents, according to reports.

“The results of testing delivered to us today confirm that our baby’s genetic parents have been identified,” Tiffany Score and Steven Mills said in a statement obtained by People on Wednesday.

    The NY Post reports.

Many people would be glad to have a baby, but then again, that’s such an epic failure that really makes think did they use an LLM at the clinic? Or was the employee a Trump hater? I heard madder things.

    1. classic textbook propaganda, this related to technique of ‘propagating’ the propaganda.
the techniques are better part of a century old and do not vary. one of the more prominent similarities
betwixt 2026 ottawaS and berlin 1930s.

    2. Between that and Chuckie’s address to Congress (the Democrats approved, but in other camps not so well), I’m afraid the Commonwealth is having a bit of chop to navigate when it comes to America.

    1. Michelle Obama will swing back into action with another “Bring back our girls” tweet. ALWAYS effective.

  2. Roundup maker Monsanto is backed by the Trump administration, a legal position that’s at odds with some allies in the Make America Healthy Again movement who want to rein in pesticide use.

It’s not about whether glyphosate causes cancer. It’s about robbing money using courts, and the People You Should Hate call it ‘pesticide’ because they’re part of the madness.

    1. How many folks are out spraying dandelions this time of year? How many have sweated until they are soaked hoeing weeds from a field of food producing crops?

      1. I have. Though dandelions ARE a food-producing crop at this time of year.

Real farmers accept that spraying poisons into the air is a violent assault on other people, and aren’t doing it any more. Are you a real farmer, or are you a bitter clinger?

    2. Ohhhhhhhhh Mommmaaaaaaaa … we’re all dying from forever chemicals! [sic] … and microplastics! [sic] Oh My!

One flawed WHO study claims glyphosate is causing human cancer. One study has unleashed teams of Lawyers into the fields with every immigrant worker bathed in Roundup.

      1. More than one study, by now. We’ve amassed dozens.

You’re talking to someone whose glyphosate reactions are acute, identifiable, and disgusting, so don’t try to defend glyphosate. Our hosts don’t deserve to hear about it.

    3. When we talk about “pesticides” generally, we’re including the other chemicals that violently attack human beings in different ways. Glyphosate Awareness educates people about a chemical whose effects are bewildering, hard to track, and easily gaslighted, such that it’s been misrepresented as “safe and effective” for years. Alternatives like dicamba, a known carcinogen, or paraquat, known to be THE primary cause of Parkinson’s Disease, are included as we realize that spraying poison into the air people breathe hurts those people.

“The madness” is clinging to the use of pesticides even after people realize what they’re doing to their own fool selves. Because they’re afraid to take a few years of financial hard times and let their fields recover from the Vicious Pesticide Cycle in which poisoning any unwanted plant or animal actually breeds more of the unwanted species.

And no, it’s not partisan at all. As the Principal Celiactivist in the Glyphosate Awareness movement, I’ve been saying for years that if the Devil had a body that body would probably have some sort of nasty reaction to glyphosate, and we’d find a place for it in the movement too. We have room for everybody–Bernie Sanders, Dave Diamond, left-wingers, right-wingers, and most definitely you!

  3. It’s CPP/OAS DAY. All the baby boomer ingrates will be swilling down Tim Horton slurry and bitching about the high cost of Canada. While yearning for the latest crumb from the govt

    1. Hey, I’m 77 years old!! But my wife and I boycott Tim Hortons. But you make good point abou relatively well-to-do seniors still receiving OAS. I think the OAS clawback starts at round $93,0000 yearly income and is all taken away at around $135,000 yearly income.

    2. Some facts related to your comment. The OAS and CPP were both laws proposed and passed by Liberal governments.

While the initial federal Old Age Pensions Act was passed by the Liberal government of William Lyon Mackenzie King in 1927, this earlier program was limited, means-tested, and only provided benefits to those aged 70 and over. The 1951 Liberal government expanded this to a universal model, and the Pearson Liberal government later lowered the eligibility age to 65 in 1968.

The Liberal Party of Canada, under Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent, created the universal Old Age Security (OAS) program through the Old Age Security Act of 1951. This legislation replaced the previous means-tested pension system with a universal monthly payment for all Canadians aged 70 and older, marking a significant expansion of Canada’s welfare state.

The Canada Pension Plan (CPP) was established by the 26th Canadian Parliament in 1965, receiving Royal Assent on April 3, 1965. The plan officially began operating on January 1, 1966, when contributions and benefits started for eligible workers. It was introduced under the Liberal minority government of Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson as a complement to Old Age Security to provide financial security for retirees, people with disabilities, and surviving family members

Some of we Boomers never got a chance to vote on either measure because we weren’t old enough. And most of us would gladly have kept the money extracted from our paychecks and invested it ourselves for a better rate of return but we DIDN’T HAVE A CHOICE! Further, no conservative government since has eliminated either program because it would have been perceived badly. SO STOP blaming everything on the Boomers as it is not right nor fair nor historically accurate as not all Boomers are Liberals.

      1. CC, don’t bother. The idiots out there who think all boomers are the problem are the same type of idiots who do the elbows up chicken dance and/or have TDS. No amount of explaining will change that.

    1. Criminals have been redefined as the … ‘underserved’
Don’t you care about the … ‘underserved’?

      1. Nice try. Saying “We were waiting first” is one thing. (Saying “They were waiting first” is a different thing, but it feels good.) Crime is a completely different thing. If saying “We were waiting first” doesn’t solve the problem, walk out, don’t come back, make THEM pay!

  4. From the Prime Minister of Canada.

“The world is increasingly dangerous, divided, and uncertain. In response, Canada’s new government is focused on what we can control: building a stronger, more resilient, more independent Canadian economy.

At the core of this new strategy are nation-building projects – new ports, mines, and trade and energy corridors that will unlock our vast resources, secure our domestic supply chains, and enable us to sell to new markets across Canada and around the world. As the private sector and international partners invest in these projects, all Canadians should have a stake and the opportunity to benefit.

To that end, today, Prime Minister Carney announced the Canada Strong Fund – Canada’s first national sovereign wealth fund. Through an initial federal contribution of $25 billion, the Fund will strategically invest, alongside the private sector, in Canadian projects and companies driving our economic transformation. This includes projects in clean and conventional energy, critical minerals, agriculture, and infrastructure.

The returns will be reinvested to grow the Canada Strong Fund, strengthening its capacity over time. As the Fund grows, it will direct capital toward investments with the highest potential return for Canada and Canadians.

To ensure Canadians have the option to invest in the growth of our nation and share in the returns, the government will launch a retail investment product. This will give Canadians a direct stake in our nation’s long-term prosperity and help build long-term national wealth. The federal government will consult over the coming months on the specific design of this new instrument. Additional details on the Canada Strong Fund will be outlined in the government’s Spring Economic Update 2026, with further updates to follow in the coming months.

Canadian companies and investors are coming forward to build Canada’s future, and investors from around the world are choosing to invest in that future. The transformative projects and companies they will help build will create a stronger, more independent, and more resilient economy for all Canadians. The Canada Strong Fund takes that one step further, making sure that all Canadians are the beneficiaries of the financial returns that these projects will generate.”

    1. Not sure why it posted twice. A key sentence starts with “To ensure Canadians have the option to invest in the growth of our nation”. It could be a strategic move to force the pension plans to make larger investments into the Canadian economy – initially via gentle arm twisting but eventually by Federal Law. But at least we know where the money is coming from – us.

      1. In other words: we can’t get anyone to invest as we need in the projects, so you, Canadian taxpayer are going to invest your money…and if/when it goes bust, well…you can bask in the warm glow of patriotism while you shiver in the cold from lack of money to pay for the heat, or the house.

    1. Stories claim the 2,500 unserved meals were all given to local food kitchens and homeless support groups. Why didn’t they get the wine too? They don’t call the homeless winos and drug addicts for nothing?

We give out free needles … and drugs … to drug addicts. So why not free wine to winos?

        1. I am sure I would list most as “reporters” or “columnists” instead with how few journalists there are in the MSM.

    1. Ilhan Omar was stunned to learn there were previously 110 English monarchs named Chuck.

Above is a link to paywalled New Yorker article about Sam Altman and what he has done with OpenAI. There was a story here just a few days ago about a rogue AI agent deleting an entire system in a manner of minutes. The linked story goes into detail about Altman’s prevarications and misrepresentations. What’s most worrying is an increasing linkup with the Pentagon and DoW.

It’s a very long read, but worth your time.
