Boundary Dam Unit 4 fired up on April 22, and it’s more significant than you might think

Up until now, the coal-fired power refurbishment may have seemed like a lot of talk. On Wednesday, April 22, it became real. And that’s significant for a number of reasons.

Not the least of which is it is in total defiance of federal coal regulations. Saskatchewan is giving Ottawa the bird.

Good for SK. We should have given the feds the same response when they introduced carbon taxes and reams of new reporting and measurement based on the moronic, anti-scientific lie of anthropogenic global warming.

And citizens should have flat-out refused to allow bird mulchers and solar panels to have been built, which were, and continue to be, subsidized with their neighbor’s money.

Alberta switched coal plants with 30 – 40 years of life left to gas. The coal was just sitting there to be mined at minimal cost. The assholes couldn’t just let the plants time out. I think most of that was done when the communists were in power although the conservatives aren’t much better.

Ottawa must be given the bird often.

Who else wants to see Saskatchewan send Ottawa a Memorandom of Understanding (MOU) relative to phasing out the coal industry by 2030 with no benchmark goals? BUT, for added emphasis is should be printed on Flash paper (nitrocellulose) as used by magicians, and a Bic lighter included in the memorandum package.
