  24. Most contractor jobs in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) require an OSHA 30 hr. safety certificate. The safest thing any contractor can do is refuse to work in D.C. and parts of Maryland (P.G., Montgomery Co. regions close to D.C.) This might lead to unemployment but it doesn’t lead to being robbed, having your truck vandalized / broken into, or getting shot.
