Proof positive of how incredibly impolite, uncivil, un-Progressive, unruly, ill-mannered, and absolutely un-Canadian the Left in our country truly are. Remember that the next time a Leftist talks about “Canadian values”, they have absolutely NO IDEA of what that term means!

Stephen Harper is a Psychopath/sociopath/xenophobic/Dictator….that’s overwhelming tone of the 1,500 plus comments below the Globe Article Canadian foreign policy needs to be more independent of other countries.
No evidence for the charges provided, just comparisons to the dictators who rose to power in Italy/Germany/Spain. Even one assertion that Preston Manning was surrounded by “Nazi’s” guards!. Believe it or not it gets even worse than that in the comment thread. I know, I know, hard to believe but see for yourself.
Don’t expect any cogent arguments, but it is damn fascinating.
Update As you’re reading the “Highest Score” comments vote thumbs down. It will drive them crazy when they see their revered comments went negative!

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Embattled Rep. Anthony Weiner admitted to posting lewd photos of himself on Twitter at a Monday afternoon press conference.
While addressing the media at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, Weiner made the following statement: “Last Friday night I tweeted a photograph of myself that I intended to send as direct message as part of a joke to a woman in Seattle. Once I realized I posted it to Twitter, I panicked, I took it down and said that I had been hacked. I then continued with that story to stick to that story which was a hugely regrettable mistake.”
“I am so sorry to have disrupted her life in this way. To be clear, the picture was of me and I sent it. I am deeply sorry for the pain this has caused my wife Huma and our family, and my constituents, my friends, supporters and staff. In addition over the past few years I have engaged in several inappropriate conversations conducted over Twitter, Facebook, email, and occasionally on the phone with women I have met online. I have exchanged messages and photos of an explicit nature with about six women over the last three years. For the most part, these communications took place before my marriage, though some have sadly took place after. To be clear, I have never met any of these women or have had any physical relationships at any time.”
Weiner also said he would not resign and that he did not believe that he did anything that broke the law.

This* audio tape (MP3) was allegedly recorded at the March 25-27 Saskatchewan NDP convention in Regina, the speaker alleged to be a well-known Saskatchewan labour lawyer.
Transcript:

“Bill 160 is probably one of the most — and I’ll use this term intentionally — evil acts being attempted by a government in Canadian history. It is the opinion of many, including Amnesty International, that Bill 160 is an attempt to take away our access to human rights. If there’s one issue – one issue – that politicians in power shouldn’t be allowed to get away with, they shouldn’t be left breathing after an election, if they think our human rights are meaningless.”

Strong words, particularly in the context of a speech delivered before an audience, and doubly so in this current atmosphere of hypersensitivity towards any form of political speech or symbolism that might be construed as counseling violence. After all, you never know what nuts might be listening.

Up until Walker’s showdown with the Democratic state senators, Koch had never seen a photograph of the governor. He didn’t know him at all. But now the protesters occupying the Wisconsin state capitol were calling Walker a “Koch Whore.”
