People Should be Pissed

Some already are, but most have no idea the degree to which they’ve been manipulated and lied to by experts and authorities.

Last week, in very short order, eight members of the New York Yankees, all of whom were apparently “fully” vaccinated, tested positive for COVID-19, confusing and alarming many Americans.

The simple answer is that we can look at viral loads. Now that the vaccines are being rolled out, the story is going to come out in a much more robust fashion. But it’s the same story that I’ve been telling this entire pandemic: Extraordinarily low viral loads should not, right off the bat, be considered infectious. Instead, we’ve taken the opposite approach: If you’re positive on a PCR test, you’re considered infectious, and you should isolate, no questions asked, no nuance of what that PCR result means.

Around 60 to 70 percent of the time that you’re PCR positive you are post-infectious. What that means is that the vast majority of people that we detected and isolated, we isolated in error — or rather, people isolated when they probably didn’t have to.

But the vaccines are now going to make this glaringly obvious because people are going to be testing positive, and the CDC is going to want to be able to say, you know, you’re still protected.

The CDC has mixed this message up – at once calling these breakthrough cases and simultaneously suggesting that the cases don’t matter and not to get tested if vaccinated. This is very confusing for people.

Grab a coffee, this is a long one. Maybe read it twice. Lots of good stuff in there.

Covid Guide

Further to this mornings post Here’s a pdf of the Covid treatment guide mentioned. If we had a properly functioning media these kinds of things would have been readily available at least a couple of months ago.  (read the fine print underneath)

CovidPatientTreatmentGuide pdf

Things you won’t see on TSN

“Man, I think most white people and black people are great people,” Barkley said. “I really believe that in my heart. But I think our system is set up where our politicians, whether they are Republicans or Democrats, are designed to make us not like each other so they can keep their grasp of money and power. They divide and conquer.

Confession, I love watching sports highlight shows with a coffee in the morning. But the amount of woke B.S. sermonizing that’s been injected into them and professional sports in general is ridiculous.

Lomborg vs Climate Cult

From The Australian

I have personally been on the receiving end of this climate alarmism enforcement for years. Last week, I was scheduled to give a public lecture at Duke University in the US when a group of climate-politicised professors – some who write for the UN Climate Panel – publicly asked Duke to cancel my appearance.

The political forces looking to spend the climate trillions and the academia segment supplying the fear want to scrub the climate debate of anything but the scariest scenarios. They want an unwavering allegiance to vigorous spending on climate policy, no matter its effectiveness.

They insist on treating this issue as a moral binary choice instead of a realistic balancing of costs and effectiveness which would allow for our many other challenges to be heard as well.

Certainly, the professors at Duke didn’t want anyone to hear dissenting facts.

Here it is on Fox hopefully not paywalled.

Here’s the lecture they wanted canceled.

Protecting the “Vulnerable”

So how’d we do?

From CBC

Canada has the worst record for COVID-19 deaths in long-term care homes compared with other wealthy countries, according to a new report released on Tuesday by the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).

The study found that the proportion of deaths in nursing homes represented 69 per cent of Canada’s overall COVID-19 deaths, which is significantly higher than the international average of 41 per cent.

In Canada, between March 2020 and February 2021, more than 80,000 residents and staff members of long-term care homes were infected with the coronavirus. Outbreaks occurred 2,500 care homes, resulting in the deaths of 14,000 residents, according to the report.

There’s lots more.

Good job everyone you all deserve a bonus !

Worst Case Scenarios only, please.

This commentary’s findings are not all that surprising to anyone who has seen the headlines about Covid in the Mainstream Media over the past year.

“In June, CNN served up a particularly flagrant example of Covid scaremongering: an article titled “Healthy teenager who took precautions died suddenly of Covid-19.

The many who skimmed the headline received an anecdotal infusion of fearful misinformation. The minority who made it to the tenth paragraph would finally learn that doctors treating the purportedly “healthy” yet visibly obese teen found he had Type 1 diabetes with a blood sugar level 10 times the norm.

Two months earlier, the Centers for Disease Control announced that about 90% of those hospitalized with the virus had one or more underlying conditions. Among the most common were obesity (48%) and diabetes (28%). Rather than using this teen’s grim story to enlighten the public about who is at greatest risk, CNN aggressively pushed a perception that nobody is safe.”

“When predicted surges don’t happen, the media gives little attention to the happy news that their alarms proved false. Instead, they’re apparently hard at work drafting warnings about whatever’s next on the calendar.”

There Goes The Narrative

Via Raheem Kassam;

The gunman responsible for a mass shooting at a Colorado grocery store on Monday has been identified as 21-year-old Ahmad Alissa.

Alissa is now in custody and has been charged with 10 counts of murder. At 2.40pm, he opened fire on King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, killing ten people.

He was taken into at 3.28pm and was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries. He is now in a stable condition and has been charged but his motive remains unknown.

Reportedly grabbed from his now deleted Facebook page;

They really don’t know.

Social media fact checkers hit hardest.

From the article

“It never struck me that six feet was particularly sensical in the context of mitigation,” said Dr. Ashish Jha, dean of the Brown University School of Public Health. “I wish the C.D.C. would just come out and say this is not a major issue.”

The origin of the six-foot distancing recommendation is something of a mystery. “It’s almost like it was pulled out of thin air,” said Linsey Marr, an expert on viral transmission at Virginia Tech University.

“One of the really important data points that has been missing is a direct head-to-head comparison of places that had implemented three feet of distance versus six feet of distance,” said Dr. Elissa Perkins, the director of emergency medicine infectious disease management at Boston University School of Medicine.

It really took the Gray Lady this long to start asking simple questions?
