All true of course but I truly thought everyone knew. Oliver, Noah, Colbert and the worst one of the bunch…Samantha Bee all follow the same recipe – Play fast and loose with the facts followed by a heaping helping of snark to an idiotic audience who laugh as if these deep as a birdbath thinkers are the second coming of Lenny Bruce. These supposed comedians know full well they’d go hungry if they ever had to go back to stand up.
But the formula doesn’t end there. The following morning snippets of their performances can be seen and are heavily promoted on websites like Mediaite with ridiculous clickbaiting headlines like “Watch Colbert Eviscerate Trump”…”Samantha Bee Absolutely Destroys Ted Cruz”. I think the word “disemboweled” was used once believe it or not.
Rinse, repeat. Over and over again like Groundhog Day.

John Stewart was America’s #1 News Anchor for an entire generation. A generation who have now opened the borders to their own replacement workers … uproarious laughter … until … they’re begging for UBI and selling collectable figurines on eBay to pay the rent.
I used to enjoy Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart until reflecting on something I’d read about the way people who agreed to be interviewed for the Daily Show were made to look like fools with post-interview editing. I realized that their style of humour came with a facade of witty intellect but on closer inspection was coming from the gutter. Their studio audiences were being programmed to laugh at this shallow, condescending, and often mean-spirited commentary, with the broadcast audience expected to hop on for the ride.
Samantha Bee was among the worst.
