In between, they pointed to politicians, including Biden, who used to decry the types of election “reforms” Democrats and the media are now championing, such as eliminating voter identification.

They have also, with their willing allies in the media, falsely labeled any efforts to implement needed reform as ‘voter suppression,’” Fund and von Spakovsky wrote.
“It is hard to see their intent as anything other than to make it easy to cheat and manipulate election results and to do so without getting caught or prosecuted,” they added.
When conservative politicians cede authority to talking head elites of mainstream media over which issues are acceptable for debate, which facts are settled, and which cultural topics are untouchable — they’re falling for a ruse.
They’re being herded away from the very issues they might win on, so that the left can retain their preferred battleground. When media reacts with derision, anger and censorship to suppress a topic or a debate — they’re frightened of it. Nobody, but nobody, tries to shut down an debate they know they’ll win.

COVID-19 outbreaks rising in long-term care homes across the country
The Maritime province is far from alone in dealing with a recent influx of cases. As of Tuesday, 243 seniors homes across the country had outbreaks, according to a Globe and Mail tally.
Residents in seniors homes were among the first to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in January and February. Scientific evidence shows that protection against the virus among the elderly begins to wane six months after receiving two doses, leaving them vulnerable to breakthrough infections just as the more dangerous Delta variant is spreading.
That sure sounds like a problem of the vaccinated. It’s also something we’ve been talking about for months already around here.
Interesting to note that out of the 27,939 recorded covid deaths listed at the bottom of this government of Canada page, 666 are under the age of 50. Then if we look on this Alberta page (scroll to bottom) we can see 73.7% of all deaths, across all age groups, have 3 or more pre existing conditions. All of which has me wondering how healthy people over lets say 70 years old are making out?

One aspect of the pandemic that typically gets little notice is the psychological side. In this one hour interview, Amy Peikoff speaks with Matthias Desmet, clinical psychologist at the University of Ghent, regarding the psychological impact of the pandemic measures.
In a nutshell, Desmet’s thesis is that the measures are creating a dangerous “social bond” in which frustration is focused on the dehumanization of the unvaccinated and anyone who questions the scope and effectiveness of said measures. We are now experiencing a phenomenon that he terms “mass formation” in which a kind of “mental intoxication” takes hold. Critical thinking is discouraged and replaced by unquestioning obedience and the adoption of transparently absurd rituals. If not stopped, he fears that this psychological conditioning will open the door to a totalitarian society.
