In a Senate hearing Wednesday, Kentucky Republican Rand Paul asked Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), about Covid, and US-funded gain of function experiments. “Can you explain to the committee why you chose to fund this dangerous research in China?”
Fauci answered by invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, for the first of 100 times.
This ought to have marked a dramatic and final end to years of hagiographic worship of the man, and commenced a long overdue decision to investigate science’s role in causing the pandemic.
No luck. The reaction to Wednesday’s hearing makes clear that there is no amount of evidence that will move half of the American population off its religious devotion to this invidious huckster-narcissist whose reckless behavior endangered the world. Nothing gets through. Documentary evidence doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter that the FBI and the Department of Energy point in that direction. Not even a desire for self-preservation — the investigation of Fauci and other scientists is a necessary precursor to learning how an engineered virus killed millions — will shake this segment of the population.

Anyone who thinks the vast majority of the media is interested in the truth over their role in supporting the leftist pursuit of power and complete subjugation of the masses is living in a past where there was a level of trust in the institutions and the state which is now incestuously linked to them. If most of them even knew who Lysenko was, they would consider him a model for science and their beloved state but only under their leftist hegemony. Numeracy, scientific literacy and knowledge of the scientific method would preclude any career in journalism today. For the most part, they are refuse from the Marxist professoriate-run humanities faculties. People’s opinions of Fauci are a litmus test where most would earn Eloi status in lack of curiosity.

COVID was no more dangerous than other influenzas that made the rounds. Many died with it but very few, if any, died of it.
Even with the inflated death counts, an extremely small portion of the population was affected.
There were no increases in COVID incidences after the burn loot murder riots took place. I was in very crowded restaurants where no one came down with it. Yet when I pointed that out – even to people who were in those crowds – I was ostracised as an heretic.

Yeah, the covid era made it clear that the majority of the population will say and do as they’re told by authorities. No matter how irrational or evil they are told to act. The vitriol towards non-conforming people who refused the vaccine was insane. The masking protocols, distancing, isolation rules, etc. were beyond stupid. If you read history and wonder how the Spanish Inquisition, witch trials, war crimes, Stalinism and other genocides occurred…now you know. If you wondered how seemingly intelligent people can believe really stupid ideas…now you know.
Modern people aren’t much more civilized or intelligent than those who tolerated and/or participated in past atrocities. More technologically advanced but the rational part of the brain can be easily bypassed by applying propaganda and fear.
Even if they later learn that they were lied to, people’s ego and pride will not allow them to admit they were wrong. It’s too embarrassing, especially for those who behaved like monsters. They will literally go to their graves before admitting they were tricked and manipulated.
