But Alex Jones is the Crazy One

Jonathan Kay: Why the Canadian left believes kooky theories about coded messages to Nazis

This has got to be the first election in the history of any democratic nation in which the incumbent self-describes as the leader of a genocide state. Yet he also tells us he’s done a bang-up job. You’d think the whole ongoing-genocide thing would be a significant campaign issue, right? At least up there with high ATM fees and electric-car tax credits. But it’s not, because everyone involved — Trudeau, in particular — knows that most voters inhabit a reality-based existence. And so they’re going to have little patience with Matrix-like conspiracy theories about Canada being a nordic Rwanda.

You can see how this complete reversal in tone generates cognitive dissonance for partisans. One moment, Canadians are history’s greatest monsters. (It’s been three months since Justin Trudeau ordered Canadian flags lowered, following the discovery of bodies of children who attended residential schools. When asked when he’ll put the flags back up, a spokesperson said Trudeau was waiting for some unspecified Indigenous community to make the decision for him.) Then the writ gets dropped. And suddenly, patriotism comes back into fashion, and we’re told that life in Canada — far from being a white supremacist dystopia — is so awesome that our PM deserves another term.

An item you won’t see in the Canadian media

Are at least some elements of the mainstream media starting to break ranks over the standard Covid narrative? What’s even more surprising it that this story comes from the BBC.

“We could be digging ourselves into a hole, for a very long time, where we think we can only keep Covid away by boosting every year,” Prof Eleanor Riley, an immunologist from the University of Edinburgh, told me.

Prof Adam Finn, a government vaccine adviser, said over-vaccinating people, when other parts of the world had none, was “a bit insane, it’s not just inequitable, it’s stupid”.

Eye on Israel

Most Covid patients at Israeli hospital fully vaccinated?

Now an Israeli doctor has revealed a bombshell during a television interview. In the interview on August 5 with Israel’s Chanel 13, Dr Kobi Haviv, medical director of Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem, stated that the majority of coronavirus patients in an Israeli hospital are fully vaccinated, including those with severe disease.

Dr Haviv further specified that: “95% of the severe patients are vaccinated,” adding “85-90% of the hospitalizations are in fully vaccinated people” and the hospital is “opening more and more COVID wards.” This has led him to conclude that “the effectiveness of the vaccine is fading out.”

Data from the Israeli Minister of Health released on July 22 declared that the effectiveness of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at preventing COVID-19 has plummeted from 90 percent to only 39 percent, coinciding with the spread of the Delta variant in the country.

and Aussies have some questions

a Freedom of Information request to the Australian drugs regulator, the Therapeutic Goods Administration that granted provisional approval to the Pfizer vaccine, confirms that it has never seen the study data.

In other words, the TGA never saw or requested the patient data from Pfizer and simply accepted their reporting of their study as true. This means that when the head of the TGA John Skerritt said that “the safety evidence is pretty thorough” on February 6, his words would ring hollow to most Australians who have assumed, rightly or wrongly, that the TGA had actually looked at the patient data before granting any such approval. As noted by Doctors for Covid Ethics on its website, it is currently not known whether any of the major government agencies around the globe (FDA, MHRA or EMA) has independently verified, or attempted to verify, Pfizer’s data, before proceeding with provisional/emergency authorization of Pfizer’s mRNA therapy vaccine.

I guess that takes care of the free rider problem. Not that they really had many anyways by now.

Ignorant Rednecks

Study Finds Most Highly Educated Americans Are Also the Most Vaccine Hesitant

A new report by researchers at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh has found that the most highly educated Americans are also the most vaccine hesitant.

The researchers canvassed no fewer than 5 million Americans who responded to surveys on whether they were “probably” or “definitely not planning on getting a COVID vaccine.

“More surprising is the breakdown in vaccine hesitancy by level of education,” reports UnHerd. “It finds that the association between hesitancy and education level follows a U-shaped curve with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. People a master’s degree had the least hesitancy, and the highest hesitancy was among those holding a PhD.”

In addition, while the lowest educated saw the largest drop in vaccine hesitancy for the first five months of 2021, those with PhD’s were the most likely to not change their minds.

Yes Virginia there is a bell curve.

1971 Leader Post: “Chiefs Request (Marieval) School Be Kept”

By Ruth Shaw, Staff Reporter

YORKTON (Staff) – A resolution asking that the Marieval Residental School be kept open as long as the Indian people want it, was passed by the chiefs and counsellors of eight Indian bands at a regional meeting held Thursday.

The meeting was held in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, with Joe Whitehawk of Yorkton, district
supervisor, as chairman.

Various spokesmen said the pupils are generally children from broken homes, orphans or are from inadequate homes. There is a great need for the school and the need is increasing, rather than diminishing. Many of the children have no other place to stay, as many have only grandparents, who through lack of space, health or age are unable to look after them.

The alternative is foster homes, which will cost just as much money. Children in the residential school get a measure of correction, discipline and religious training and this should be taken into consideration, when plans are under study for the phasing out of the school, the spokesman said.

While residential schools are not the best, they meet the most needs of the children. Children in foster homes are deprived of correction, discipline and religious training. The older members were disciplined and given religious training and “we must get back to these old traditions,” the spokesman said. The spokesman, who is a community development officer, said the Marievale Residential School must be expanded one step further and a junior high school established.

Another spokesman said the Indian people passed a resolution asking that the school remain open and it should not be up to the department to say whether the school should be closed.

Another said that if the request is made it should remain open and “the people should not be bribed to close the place.”

Chief Antoine Cote of the Cote reserve said the people on his reserve are not satisfied with the integration of Indian students at Kamsack.

“They claim there is no discrimination, but there is and we realize there is. One of the reasons of phasing out the student residential schools is so our children can be sent to so called integrated schools,” he said.

Shut Up and Go Away

An expert who follows the science is being suppressed by the “listen to the experts” and “follow the science” crowd.

Dr. Byram W. Bridle is a heavily credentialed, well published, Canadian expert in immunization and virology. Right now he’s is also the subject of harassment, a viscous smear campaign and a concerted effort by the corporate press to ignore what he has to say.

Grab a coffee and take a look at this Expert Witness Affidavit from April 13, 2021, the first 100 pages of which establish just how much of an expert he is. After which he gives his opinion on asymptomatic transmission and retransmission, PCR testing, risks associated with the variants of concern, and a few other things including early treatment options. Even if you just skim the document you’ll learn a lot.

A Conviction, Followed By A Police Investigation

NY Post;

The 20-year-old man charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the pickup truck attack against a Muslim family in Canada was described as a “nice guy” by co-workers — and had no known ties to hate groups.

Nathaniel Veltman is accused of killing Salman Afzaal, 46, his wife, Madiha, 44, their daughter Yumna, 15, and Afzaal’s 74-year-old mother — and injuring the couple’s 9-year-old son, Fayez.

The suspect worked part-time at Gray Ridge Egg Farms, an egg-packing facility in Strathroy, Ontario, CTV News reported.

In a statement, company CEO William Gray said management and staff “were shocked and saddened” to find out one of their workers had been charged in the attack. […]

Tina Perry, a former longtime co-worker of Veltman, told CTV News that he was a nice guy who kept to himself and was always available to help when someone needed it.

“He was always a nice guy,” she told the outlet. “I’ve never heard anything bad about him. I’m very shaken up about this.”

Global News;

The police chief said investigators were “trying to piece together what the thought patterns may have been and what led to him undertaking this act on so many,” as well as tracing his movements and what he may have been doing on the internet.

“Certainly we look for the online footprint. Everybody leaves one. Everybody’s on the internet, they’re on their phones every day, and it would form part of our investigation. So we would expect to find something. I don’t know what that will be, but it’ll form part of the investigation,” Williams said.

Wait. I was told they already knew everything.

People Should be Pissed

Some already are, but most have no idea the degree to which they’ve been manipulated and lied to by experts and authorities.

Last week, in very short order, eight members of the New York Yankees, all of whom were apparently “fully” vaccinated, tested positive for COVID-19, confusing and alarming many Americans.

The simple answer is that we can look at viral loads. Now that the vaccines are being rolled out, the story is going to come out in a much more robust fashion. But it’s the same story that I’ve been telling this entire pandemic: Extraordinarily low viral loads should not, right off the bat, be considered infectious. Instead, we’ve taken the opposite approach: If you’re positive on a PCR test, you’re considered infectious, and you should isolate, no questions asked, no nuance of what that PCR result means.

Around 60 to 70 percent of the time that you’re PCR positive you are post-infectious. What that means is that the vast majority of people that we detected and isolated, we isolated in error — or rather, people isolated when they probably didn’t have to.

But the vaccines are now going to make this glaringly obvious because people are going to be testing positive, and the CDC is going to want to be able to say, you know, you’re still protected.

The CDC has mixed this message up – at once calling these breakthrough cases and simultaneously suggesting that the cases don’t matter and not to get tested if vaccinated. This is very confusing for people.

Grab a coffee, this is a long one. Maybe read it twice. Lots of good stuff in there.

Covid Guide

Further to this mornings post Here’s a pdf of the Covid treatment guide mentioned. If we had a properly functioning media these kinds of things would have been readily available at least a couple of months ago.  (read the fine print underneath)
