The BBC previously revealed that more than 300 cameras had been vandalised between April and mid-August.
The actual number of cameras affected is likely to be even higher as one report can represent attacks on multiple cameras.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s Ultra Low Emission Zone expanded across all of the capital’s boroughs on 29 August.
The Metropolitan Police told the BBC: “To date, Met investigations have led to the arrest of two individuals, one charged and bailed for trial to June 2024 and the other [case] discontinued by the CPS.”
It added that the force “continues to monitor anti-Ulez protests, as we do for all potential public order matters, to consider if bespoke policing plans are required”.
MP for Sutton and Cheam and London minister Paul Scully has written to Mr Khan urging him to remove the Ulez camera in front of the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, which has been targeted by vandals.
He told Mr Khan the camera was “serving as a prominent lightning rod towards those who are willing to take the law into their own hands”.
He added that the location of the camera was aimed at intentionally catching motorists “venturing little more than a hundred metres into the boundary to visit loved ones, receive treatment or attend their place of work”.

Equality Of Outcome Regardless Of Inputs
Or, Equity, Baby:
The genius of the “equity-focussed” policies, also being advanced in California and elsewhere, is that they are likely to have negative consequences for both ends of the ability spectrum. The cognitively untalented will be spared the normal incentives to master at least the basics, even the basics of behaviour, while the gifted will be denied access to advanced material more suited to their abilities, resulting in boredom and demoralisation.

These 14 American Cities Have A ‘Target’ Of Banning Meat, Dairy, And Private Vehicles By 2030
Fourteen major American cities are part of a globalist climate organization known as the “C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group,” which has an “ambitious target” by the year 2030 of “0 kg [of] meat consumption,” “0 kg [of] dairy consumption,” “3 new clothing items per person per year,” “0 private vehicles” owned, and “1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person.”
C40’s dystopian goals can be found in its “The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World” report, which was published in 2019 and reportedly reemphasized in 2023. The organization is headed and largely funded by Democrat billionaire Michael Bloomberg. Nearly 100 cities across the world make up the organization, and its American members include Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.
The trap door opens
The marginal consumer is tapped out. The real culprit is not rising interest rates, but rather the prior fall to zero percent which incentivized consumers to load up on debt that they could not actually afford.
Anecdotally, my local boat and ATV dealer tells me that sales are slumping right now.
Macy’s is warning of a spike in customers who are failing to make credit card payments, adding to the evidence of mounting financial stress on consumers.
This situation is hurting Macy’s business, driving down credit card revenue by 36% year over year and contributing to a quarterly loss, he said. Citing worsening consumer leverage metrics, Macy’s is bracing for a further increase in “bad debt” in its credit card portfolio.

Daily Mail- Nine out of 10 ULEZ cameras have been vandalized in southeast London
From next week, the controversial scheme will cover all London boroughs and will force drivers of non-compliant vehicles to shell out £12.50 a day. The pricey plans have been met with much resistance and armour plating is now being used to protect the cameras.
TfL has said the vandalism will not stop the Ulez changes going ahead next week as planned and that all vandalised cameras will be replaced or repaired. A spokesperson added that more than 1,900 cameras are in place in outer London.
Activists have also put stickers over the cameras so that drivers aren’t caught out by the new rules.

So it’s goodbye, manufacturing. No more German automobiles, among other products. Of course, the issue isn’t whether the government should subsidize energy prices on behalf of the manufacturing sector. The issue is whether the government should continue to intentionally and catastrophically drive energy prices higher.
He Admires Their Basic Dictatorship
Good morning, folks. In a shocking turn of events out of Eastern Canada – or maybe not so shocking given the liberal tide sweeping Ontarios institutions – Ontario’s court has just ruled against the renowned professor and free speech advocate, Dr. Jordan Peterson. Yes, you heard that right. Dr. Peterson, an individual who has always advocated for intellectual freedom and has pushed against the stifling boundaries of political correctness, has been ordered to undergo – wait for it – social media training.
So, what’s his big crime? Well, Peterson, a well-respected member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, dared to use his online platform to comment on various public issues – including giving his opinion on a plus-sized model and actor Elliot Page. For this, the governing body received complaints and deemed that Peterson’s public statements could possibly be “professional misconduct.” Can you believe that? This is where we’re heading – criticize or merely have a different perspective on mainstream liberal narratives, and you might be at risk of losing your professional license.
Dr. Peterson did what any sane person would. He challenged this decision, arguing that his political commentary isn’t within the college’s jurisdiction. But the Ontario Divisional Court didn’t see it that way. They upheld the college’s decision, claiming it’s within their mandate to regulate the profession “in the public interest.” And, of course, they added the cherry on top by asserting it doesn’t affect his freedom of expression. Sure, just undergo forced training for expressing your opinions. Sounds very free to me.
Remember, Jordan Peterson isn’t just some random figure. He’s a retired University of Toronto psychology professor who’s made waves with his deep critiques of liberal culture and has penned the successful book, “12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos.” But apparently, in today’s climate, academic achievements and a career dedicated to the exploration of free thought means little if you don’t toe the line of the so-called ‘woke’ agenda.
When one looks at the latest ruling against Jordan Peterson in Ontario, it’s hard not to think that we’re witnessing the makings of a Banana Republic in action.

Education Minister Dustin Duncan today announced new parental inclusion and consent policies for Saskatchewan schools.
As of today:
– Schools must seek parent/guardian permission when changing the preferred name and pronouns used by students under the age of 16 in the school;
– Parents/guardians must be informed about the sexual health education curriculum and have the option to decline their children’s participation; and,
– Boards of education must immediately pause involvement with any third-party organization, such as ARC Foundation and the SOGI 1 2 3 Program, connected to sexual health education as the ministry undertakes review of educational resources to ensure alignment with curriculum outcomes. Only teachers, not outside third-parties, will be able to present sexual education materials in the classroom. This directive does not include professionals employed by government ministries or the Saskatchewan Health Authority.“Our government has heard the concerns raised by Saskatchewan parents about needing to be notified and included in their children’s education in these important areas,” Education Minister Dustin Duncan said.
Predictably, the NDP return to their roots.

Friends of Canadian Socialism….oh, wait, Friends of Canadian Broadcasting, says that Canadians ought to boycott Instagram and Facebook essentially for complying with the edicts of the Trudeau government. The first thing that popped into my mind when I read this is, “Are these dinosaurs still around?” I remember their frantic assertions in the early 1980s that Canadian TV would soon be destroyed by cable TV due to the boogeyman of “audience fragmentation”. That was, of course, prior to satellite TV and long before streaming services even existed.
The Friends of Canadian Broadcasting group is asking people to stop posting content on Meta’s platforms on Aug. 23 and 24.
The group says the move is meant to show that Canadians won’t be pushed around by Meta, which decided to pull news from Canadian publishers from its platforms in response to legislation that recently passed.

Police? Who needs those?
With all the hoopla about defunding the police over the past three years, what other outcome did anyone expect? What’s worse is the inevitable move towards a recruitment standard of simply having a pulse.
In Newfoundland, for example, the vacancy rate for RCMP positions was at 17 per cent. The vacancy rate is the gap between the number of officers the force is committed to under policing contracts with the province and the numbers the RCMP is actually providing.
In Prince Edward Island, the Mounties providing 16-per-cent fewer officers than the province has contracted for. In Alberta and the Northwest Territories, it is 15 per cent.
The vacancy rate is 13 per cent in New Brunswick, 10 per cent in Manitoba and eight per cent in Nova Scotia.
Don’t make me come up there!
There’s two ways to comply with Canada’s recent legislation regarding online news: either pay every time a user on your social media platform links to said news, or block the link and pay nothing. Meta has chosen the latter option.
The federal government’s response: We demand that you make a different choice! If you don’t, well, …. we’ll complain a lot because what else can you do when you’ve painted yourself into a corner.
The Canadian government on Friday demanded that Meta lift a “reckless” ban on domestic news from its platforms to allow people to share information about wildfires in the west of the country.
Chris Bittle, a legislator for the ruling Liberal Party, complained on Thursday that “Meta’s actions to block news are reckless and irresponsible.”

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is under fire on social media after a government asset review showed that his wife owns a rental property in Burnaby, British Columbia, that is earning income.
This comes as Singh blasted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre for favouring “rich investors” in the housing market. […]
True North reached out to Singh’s office to ask how much his wife was charging for rent and how many people lived on the property but did not receive a response by the deadline given.
