Ginning up Canadian NPCs
The NY Times is now promoting a narrative whereby Canadians should assign President Trump some blame for . . . wait for it . . . Iran shooting down a Ukrainian airliner:
If it is determined that it was an Iranian missile, Mr. Trudeau will have to grapple with the question of whether the United States, Canada’s most important ally, played a role in provoking the events that ultimately resulted in the loss of Canadians’ lives.
Amazing to watch Canadian journalists argue that the plane being blown out of the sky was the fault of @realDonaldTrump.
So far @JustinTrudeau isn’t biting as they lay out that bogus argument.— Brian Lilley (@brianlilley) January 9, 2020
All the spin that fits their hate!
Leftists across America are on the rampage to stop Trump at ANY cost!
Our American friend, Marc, offers some commentary on two recent videos: Nancy Pelosi and Kyle Kulinski.
If you’ve been around SDA long enough then you know that one of the reasons Kate created this website was to provide a place for ordinary folks to talk back against the lies. Expect many opportunities in 2020 to do so!
Trump Speaking Live in Ohio
The Leftist’s Dilemma in 2020
If you’re a rational person in the West today, you should feel pretty darn good. For we’ve reached a point where all NATO countries are essentially protected by the military umbrella provided by the United States Armed Forces. Furthermore, President Donald Trump has demonstrated on multiple occasions that he has no interest in engaging in regime-change wars. But he has also indicated that he won’t tolerate any bullies crossing the proverbial red line, especially when their actions directly effect the lives of Americans.
Please take a moment to conduct two thought experiments. First, imagine that a Democrat president had been in charge and done exactly the same things that Trump has done. Would there be any complaints?
Second, and this one is much more difficult for anyone who takes pride in the clarity of their thinking: Return to today’s reality but put yourself in the mind of a Leftist. Think carefully about the events that have transpired in the Middle East so far this year. Summoning your strongest TDS thoughts, why, oh why, would you possibly be angry at Donald Trump over what has transpired? Are you mad at him because his strategy worked when you were convinced it wouldn’t? Are you mad at him because America DIDN’T GO TO WAR over the missile attacks from Iran last night? Are you mad at him because all of your suspicions and fears didn’t come true, you’re too embarrassed to let this reality creep into your mind and challenge your world view, so sticking to “Orange Man Bad” is simply easier?
Millions, possibly billions of Leftists the world over are devoutly angrier at Trump today than they were on December 31st. Why, SDA reader, why?!?
Sargon of Akkad has just released a very insightful video on this very subject.

Soleimani blown into chunks…hardest hit, @brhodes
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) January 3, 2020
Details here;
An airstrike killed Gen. Qassem Soleimani, head of Iran’s elite Quds Force and architect of its regional security apparatus, at Baghdad’s international airport Friday, Iranian state television and three Iraqi officials said, an attack that’s expected to draw severe Iranian retaliation against Israel and American interests.
The strike also killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of Iran-backed militias in Iraq known as the Popular Mobilization Forces, or PMF, the officials said. The PMF media arm said the two were killed in an American airstrike that targeted their vehicle on the road to the airport.
I believe that’s called “sending a message”.
This may be the most significant strike since Osama bin Laden was killed. As Qods Force leader, Soleimani had his hands in every Shia-related insurgency and terror attack in the Middle East and beyond. Muhandis was deputy commander of Iraq's PMF, an official Iraqi govt unit. https://t.co/5slAyLwO40

Do tell.
Winston Churchill once said there was no more exhilarating feeling than to be shot at and missed. Conversely there is nothing worse than to shoot at your sworn enemy and publicly miss. The ayatollahs have committed the ultimate diplomatic crime and walked out empty handed.

The Jobs That Americans Won’t Do
“I just want enlisted guys”.
Was There Nothing That Obama Wouldn’t Do?
It all started with a 40-year container terminal lease between the Port of Long Beach in southern California and Hong Kong. The Obama administration proudly signed the agreement in 2012 giving China control of America’s second-largest container port behind the nearby Port of Los Angeles. One of the Trump administration’s first big moves was to get the Communists out of the Port of Long Beach. After a national security review and federal intervention, the Long Beach terminal business, which handles millions of containers annually, is finally being sold to an Australian company called Macquarie Infrastructure Partners. That essentially kills China’s decades-long contract with the Obama administration.
This was published in October, but just spotted it now.
A Historic Day
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and confusion that morning had arrived and Donald Trump was still their President.
Trump will change what the word "impeachment" means to the country more than impeachment will change the Trump presidency. We are only days away from the word becoming meaningless.

Art Of The Deal
Axios certainly has the best intro to today’s bombshell development: “Internationalists have always dreamed of a court with jurisdiction over all the countries of the world. In 1995, the World Trade Organization was created — allowing the world’s countries to press claims against one another for the first time.”
But it won’t survive the Trump presidency as on Tuesday his administration has effectively brought it to an end, neutering its ability to intervene in trade wars, having blocked all new appointments to its dispute-resolution court.
The WTO must act on the concerns surrounding China, which has seen its economy boom since it became a member in 2001. Beijing has for long hoodwinked the WTO members with its market-distorting state-driven capitalism. The trade body must also reform its classification method that allows countries such as China — the world’s second-largest economy — and Singapore to enjoy concessions by classifying themselves as “developing countries.”
