The United Nations is at risk of “imminent financial collapse” due to member states not paying their fees, the body’s head has warned.
He wrote in a letter to all 193 member states that they had to honour their mandatory payments or overhaul the organisation’s financial rules to avoid collapse.
It comes after the UN’s largest contributor, the US, refused to contribute to its regular and peacekeeping budgets, and withdrew from several agencies it called a “waste of taxpayer dollars”. Several other members are in arrears or are simply refusing to pay.[…]
At its headquarters in Geneva, signs warning of the situation have been put up everywhere. In an almost desperate attempt to save cash, the escalators are regularly turned off and the heating turned down.
Perhaps Justin Trudeau, Nancy Pelosi, and the Clintons could fund it using their own money.

My encounters with the UN in third world countries showed me a bloated, parasitic, bureaucracy more interested in schmoozing on the taxpayers’ dime than doing any useful work. Don’t let the door hit you in the rear.

Years ago I was at the World Petroleum Congress and they had some douche bag from the UN speaking at a plenary session. The nonsense that came out of that cow was absolutely breathtaking. She was from another planet….maybe even another solar system…..
My experience with them has been truly disgusting behavior…frequently involving children…and utter incompetence, most likely due to absolute corruption.

I’m in Charlotte, NC looking at 6-7″ of snow and another 4-6″ on the way. Just came in from a walk in it, sitting next to the fire, and just reading the pull quote warmed my heart and raised my body temperature the rest of the way. At least some part of a swamp is being drained and starved.
