Keir Starmer’s Britain

Keir Starmer’s Britain

Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and the Magna Carta is a bird cage liner.

In a recent interview, Cleese observed that the government’s new speech standards would classify many citizens, including himself, as presumptive criminals for criticizing certain policies. He observed that ”As I am an Islamosceptic, I’m now worried that the Labour government may categorise me as a terrorist…”

The government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer has continued its headlong plunge into the criminalization of speech. The guidelines include a section on cultural nationalism, stating that such views are now the subject of government crackdowns. To even argue that Western culture is under threat from mass migration or a lack of integration by certain groups is being treated as a dangerous ideology.

Cleese responded by saying, “I’m clearly a terrorist, so I’m afraid they are going to have to arrest me.”

The tragedy is that this is no wicked Monty Python joke. Cleese has every reason to be concerned.

Mann Up, Mike

@SteveGuest

BREAKING: The Superior Court in DC just NUKED disgraced climate scientist Michael Mann AGAIN.

Last year, Mann was sanctioned for “knowingly feeding the jury false data” in a manner of misconduct that was “extraordinary in its scope, extent, and intent.”

Today, the court doubled down, highlighting Michael Mann’s lies:

“Plaintiff left the jury with misleading evidence… the Court simply cannot condone such bad faith litigation tactics… Thus, the Court’s ruling must stand. It is the Court’s duty to punish and deter bad faith litigation tactics.”

Now Michael Mann must pay Rand Simberg $16,762.82 and Mark Steyn $11,404.80 within the next 30 days.

Who is Michael Mann?

He reposted comments calling Charlie Kirk the “head of Trump’s Hitler Youth.”

In 2022, Mann wrote on X that the Republican Party needed to be “destroyed.”

Mann has also called for people to take up arms and form a militia against President Trump and he has been sanctioned by a court for “knowingly feeding the jury false data” in a manner of misconduct that was “extraordinary in its scope, extent, and intent.”

Mark Steyn has more.

US Bars Five European Speech Nannies

The State Department announced Tuesday it was barring five Europeans it accused of leading efforts to pressure U.S. tech firms to censor or suppress American viewpoints.

The Europeans, characterized by Secretary of State Marco Rubio as “radical” activists and “weaponized” nongovernmental organizations, fell afoul of a new visa policy announced in May to restrict the entry of foreigners deemed responsible for censorship of protected speech in the United States. […]

The action to bar them from the U.S. is part of a Trump administration campaign against foreign influence over online speech, using immigration law rather than platform regulations or sanctions.

The five Europeans named by Rogers are: Imran Ahmed, chief executive of the Centre for Countering Digital Hate; Josephine Ballon and Anna-Lena von Hodenberg, leaders of HateAid, a German organization; Clare Melford, who runs the Global Disinformation Index; and former EU Commissioner Thierry Breton, who was responsible for supervising social media rules.

New Rules

@HansMahncke

This is remarkable to watch on multiple levels. There is the diplomatic dimension, where an American Under Secretary of State is not supposed to call a spade a spade. But when the people demanding deference to those outdated conventions are the very same elites who fear their own citizens and suppress them through increasingly tyrannical censorship, they have forfeited any claim to courtesy. You can almost picture German elites getting whiplash just from reading it.

Then there is the tactical side of it. Sarah Rodgers knows perfectly well that what she is saying is not permitted speech in Germany. That is precisely why she says it so bluntly and forcefully, almost daring the German government to react. The point is the opposite of subtle persuasion (that did not work). Instead, she’s inviting the German government to lash out at her, which would make their repression even more visible and self-incriminating.

There is also a deeper historical message embedded in this. The United States did not sacrifice blood and treasure to liberate Germany after World War II so that it could quietly slide back into old authoritarian habits under a different pretext. And if it insists on doing so, it should not assume American indulgence or silence. That era is over.

The Inverse Of Diversity

I have my disagreements with Plato, but I think he’s essential reading for a course in philosophy. Texas A&M, on the other hand, begs to differ.

Most philosophy nerds will recognize the “gender ideology” readings in question, which are lifted from the Symposium. The university apparently quibbled with Plato’s reference the the “Myth of Androgyne,” in which Aristophanes describes three genders.

María Corina Machado Interview from Late 2025

A few months ago, Nobel Peace Prize Winner María Corina Machado engaged in this interview. Every Canadian and American should pay close attention to her describe Venezuela’s downfall under Democratic Socialism. Free speech was removed. Merit was replaced with nepotism. Is it any wonder why NDP’ers, Lieberals, and Democrats are angry as hell about what happened a few days ago? For them, Venezuela of the past quarter century isn’t a warning, it’s an instruction manual.

Diversity Über Alles

Telegraph- Free speech will have to go to preserve multiculturalism

The powers-that-be in Australia, the UK, and the EU believe you can have multiculturalism, and you can have free speech, but not both. And since multiculturalism must always come first, it is free speech that must yield, wither and ultimately die.

Update: Ursula von der Leyen describing free speech as a virus and censorship as its vaccine…….

Keir Starmer’s Britain

Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and the “Special Relationship” just took a turn…

A teacher in an English school was accused of posing a risk to children and referred to the Government’s counter-terrorism programme after showing Donald Trump videos to his US politics class.

The teacher, who is in his 50s, has told The Telegraph he was “likened to a terrorist” after showing the videos, including one of Mr Trump’s inauguration, to A-level students.

Henley College, a sixth-form in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, with more than 2,000 students, reported the politics lecturer to the local child safeguarding authority, which concluded a referral to Prevent, the Government’s counter-terrorism programme, was a “priority”.

The teacher was accused of causing his A-level students, aged 17 and 18, “emotional harm”. In one document, seen by The Telegraph, local officials in charge of child protection suggested the showing of the videos could amount to a “hate crime”.

The extraordinary claims prompted the teacher, who first qualified in the mid 1990s, to begin a grievance procedure against the college. In a negotiated settlement, it gave him a £2,000 payoff after effectively forcing him to resign from his £44,000-a-year post.

Let That Sink In

The US State Department said Tuesday it would deny visas to a former EU commissioner and four others, accusing them of seeking to “coerce” American social media platforms into censoring viewpoints they oppose.

“These radical activists and weaponized NGOs have advanced censorship crackdowns by foreign states — in each case targeting American speakers and American companies,” the department said in a statement announcing the sanctions.

The measure targeted Thierry Breton, the former top tech regulator at the European Commission, who often clashed with tech tycoons such as Elon Musk over their obligations to follow EU rules.

Breton was described by the State Department as the “mastermind” of the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), a major piece of legislation that imposes content moderation and other standards on major social media platforms operating in Europe.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said on X his country “strongly condemns” the visa restrictions, adding that Europe “cannot let the rules governing their digital space be imposed by others upon them”.

Where do I submit nominations?

A world wide system of censorship: Here is the full length video report into the mysterious ‘Global Disinformation Index’ and how it censors political speech across Europe and the US.

“Die mad, Eurotrash.”

This is personal to me because I’ve spent a substantial part of my life doing the jobs that Europeans would not do. From November 1988 to April 1991, with a multi-month tangent to the Persian Gulf War, I was part of NATO in what was then West Germany. It’s always great to have people tell me how important NATO is when I was part of it, and they weren’t, but let’s put that aside. I was there at the end of the Cold War. We were still doing things like having REFORGER exercises and going out on alerts at 3 a.m., where we would shiver in our assembly areas knowing that if the balloon really went up, our role was to die in place so the locals could continue to consume strudel and bitch about Ronald Reagan.

Keir Starmer’s Britain

Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and the sun never sets on the Censorship Industrial-Complex Empire.

Very early into the COVID-19 pandemic, ZeroHedge suggested that a little-known Chinese lab in Wuhan might know something about the novel coronavirus sweeping the globe. As a result, and as you know, we were subject to an intense demonetization / deplatforming campaign that included getting kicked off of Twitter, PayPal, Facebook and other platforms, dropped by our advertisers, and targeted by MSM hit pieces which colluded with foreign ‘watchdogs’ to inflict maximum damage.

These same groups also targeted outlets including The Federalist and Breitbart over various reporting, which suffered similar fates.

Now, thanks to a new book by investigative journalist Paul Holden that builds on reporting by Matt Taibbi, Paul Thacker and others, we learn that the origin of these campaigns, launched years before the pandemic, was none other than UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer’s political machine, which began targeting left-wing outlets speaking critically of Starmer such as The Canary, and then went after conservative outlets in America – just in time for the 2020 US election.
