Ian Cumming: Before there is too much admiration, the real background story of Kingston Chinese plant

AN APRIL 28, 2016 meeting in Gustine, California changed the landscape of the Canadian dairy industry.
The meeting was between several top people representing the Chinese-owned Feihe dairy processor, and Wang Pei from the Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) to explore the possibility of Feihe building a processing plant in Canada.
According to about 1,000 documents received under Access to Information, Pei is referred to as the ‘International Advisor to CEO’. Many documents were not made available or were redacted to some degree.
Minutes of that April meeting show that when the CDC was asked about potential limitations on production, it provided assurances that “there were no problems for cow milk infant formula.”
Feihe said if it had a Canadian plant “we can also import milk from U.S. processors and export but the made products cannot be sold in Canada.” The minutes state “butter and SMP produced by Feihe can be sold to the CDC, committed.” Later documentation shows Feihe estimated that five per cent of its production would be butter, all being sold to the CDC.
In May 2016, Health Canada provided information to Feihe that “clinical trials are required to support the safety and efficacy of new infant formula. The clinical trials, at the current time, can only be carried out abroad.”
“China, or any other country, can be the location,” documents state.
On June 28, 2016 in the Frontenac Room at the Delta Hotel in Ottawa, a letter of intent was signed between Jacques Laforge, CEO of the CDC and Leng Youbin, Chairman of Feihe. The signing was termed “a business agreement on our investment in infant formula manufacturing in Canada.”
Top officials from Agriculture Canada, Health Canada and CFIA were issued invitations to the signing. There was a strong warning issued that there should be “no media report on signing.”
Canada Doesn’t Export Milk
Except to…
Kingston-based Canada Royal Milk, owned by China's Feihe International, largest baby formula plant in Canada, ships products back to China. The plant uses Canadian cow and goat milk.
We needed the Chinese to figure out how to export our own milk.

Newly released documents reveal Twitter Canada told government officials that a federal plan to create a new internet regulator with the power to block specific websites is comparable to drastic actions used in authoritarian countries like China, North Korea and Iran.
He Admires Their Basic Dictatorship
Make no mistake, this is the future that Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh are wanting for Canada:

So When Is Justin Going To Freeze Chinese Accounts?
While Dear Leader is cracking down on dissent in Canada, China is busy exerting its control in the country. In related news, China and Russia take advantage of weak western leaders.
The Canadian Senate: The Final Frontier
Basically, with the exception of the lawsuits being launched against the government by the Canadian and Ontario civil liberties associations and the province of Alberta, the Senate is the final chance for Justin Castro’s draconian power grab to be stopped. Will Senators rubber stamp the Emergencies Act? Or will they act in the interests of Canadian citizens and democracy?
Interesting rumblings here:
Should we have faith? I mean hey, Canadians are so very principled lately.
More stuff:
Has the Great Canadian Underbussing started? Dean has thoughts here. The international press coverage of Trudeau has been absolutely ruthless and the CBC fangirls and his inner circle cannot possibly be blind to the condemnation. Will the Libranos backtrack?

The person who created it and shared it with me knows it probably won’t help, but he felt he had to do something.
Radical Leftist PM Uses Radical Leftist Government-Funded Media to Justify Power Grab
And what could possibly be wrong with that?
The incredible powers that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has given his government to freeze people’s bank accounts is based on their reliance on “analysis” from the CBC.
This is according to a 14-page document the government tabled in the House of Commons Wednesday night detailing the supposed rationale for invoking the Emergencies Act in the first place.
The basis for some of the most controversial measures they’ve brought in merely rely on nothing more than CBC reporting.”

Some Things To Do
The federal “Conservatives” are busy Tweeting about housing prices and asking the PM in a mean voice when the mandates will end. When Convoy spokesman BJ Dichter told me never to underestimate the Conservatives ability to score on their own net, he wasn’t kidding.
In the meantime, there are some things Canadians and non-Canadians can do if they wish. These suggestions come from the truckers themselves. Trudeau has to bring this to Parliament within 7 days of the declaration and get a majority to pass it. Remember, he has a minority government. The NDP says they are going along with him but perhaps they are also reading the room (I know the chances of that are slim). When you call, make sure you get a person on the line. I know it seems like they are all ignoring everyone, but calls and e-mails are tabulated and even if they don’t admit it, and even if they send you some dogsqueeze hooey form reply, your efforts are noted and go into their tabulations and calculations on public opinion (i.e how they can stay in power).
More legal thoughts here.
Plus: the petulant Blackface Wearing Boy King has lost the New York Times.

Canadians can e-mail and call their Member of Parliament and non-Canadians call call and/or e-mail their local Canadian Embassy or consulate to register their displeasure.

Behold: Fruits of The Great Honkening

Suddenly, Ontario Premier Doug Ford is “done” with it.
Meanwhile: Federal “Conservatives” with leadership aspirations blather about housing and are so very, very butch about mandates two years into this thing, and now that the truckers have done the heavy lifting. Stunning and brave!
If any Canadian “Conservatives” MPs or MPPs have denounced dictator Prime Minister Justin Poutine’s invoking of the Emergencies Act let me know-and I mean really denounced. Not a qualified “well, it’s really not nice and most truckers are peaceful BUT some of those nasty truckers are very mean and bad” kind of thing.
Gonna do some freedoming, people.
The honking will continue until the freedom has improved.

“We know that about 90 per cent of truckers are vaccinated “
How often have we heard this week that “90% of truckers are vaccinated”?
Often. Several times a day, repeated by journalists and politicians. That’s a disinformation campaign, a deliberate effort to seed “talking points” into the mainstream. Easy to remember, easy to repeat. And no one can fact check it because there is no data to check.
Currently (Our World In Data) the rate of full vaccination rests at just under 79% for all Canadians. Industry polls on vaccin mandates show opinions are nearly equally divided. It’s statistically improbable that truck drivers would be getting vaccinated at rates higher than the general population.
Until you understand how media and government work together to drive false narratives into the mainstream, you’ll have difficulty spotting these persuasion techniques: the little mind worms designed to change your thinking, change your behaviour. When you’re alert to the patterns, you’ll see them everywhere.

Lithium Batteries are Transphobic
Toronto Star- Ottawa looks on as China buys Canadian lithium operations
The decision is bizarre. Lithium, which is on a list of 31 minerals that Ottawa says are critical to Canada’s economy, is imperative to modern manufacturing, including large-scale battery storage needed for clean energy transition and, significantly, batteries for the flourishing electric vehicle (EV) industry.
Now the Zijin Mining Group Ltd is cleared to buy Toronto-based Neo Lithium Corp.
