Is that rhetorical question?
Commonwealth = common decline.
Well, Commonwealth and or Francophonie.
Turd? Or dung? ? ? Does it matter?
Some of you may disagree, but I think the UK is way further down the path of no return than Canada. The UK has a totally compromised law enforcement. Canada still has tiny flashes of hope in that regard. I just watched a video yesterday of a teenage British white kid smiling broadly while coming out of a sporting goods shop holding a brand new aluminum baseball bat (still wrapped in the store’s plastic, and holding a receipt). The smile was of pride for making the purchase conceivably with his own money. An accomplishment.
Which was squashed seconds later as a totally inexperienced gnome of a police officer grabbed him to restrain him for carrying a weapon and conceivably being a threat to others. All the while this is going on, minorities are yelling at the kid and acting in a threatening manner while the cop did everything his little stature could do to tackle the kid to the ground (before spray pepper spray in his face).
“All the while this is going on, minorities are yelling at the kid and acting in a threatening manner while the cop did everything his little stature could do to tackle the kid”
While another couple of people were yelling at the cop about the bat being “still in the package…he just bought it!”. A truly disgusting display of over-reaction; if there really was a demonstration going on right in front of the sporting goods store, all the cop had to do was escort the kid a block or so away and say “have a nice day”.
Just another reminder that the police are state enforcers and not our friends. And bullies besides.
