About Canada’s progressive approach toward addiction is the way our inner city streets have blossomed into colour.

Yup. If anyone wants a quick study on what’s wrong with Canada, just visit the nation’s capital. A year ago we took a late morning drive through Ottawa’s Little Italy. Both sides of Preston St. were littered with paralyzed meth-heads and junkies shooting up right on the sidewalk.
And, to quote the Ottawa Police, “Who is to say what’s causing it”
“…littered with paralyzed meth-heads and junkies shooting up right on the sidewalk.”
Toronto subway. In summer they gather around air conditioning. In winter around heat.
Also to quote Ottawa keystone cops: “We’re not arresting because they’re not hurting anyone.”
Travel to downtown Ottawa?
Hell, just go to the nearest medium/big city and cruise down their “shelter row” to observe the degradation and how government allows and supports this dysfunctional behaviour.
Pandora St, Victoria
DTES, Vancouver
Whaley/Newton, Surrey
Old Chilliwack
Penticton Walmart area and Canal
Wendell Pl, Kelowna
Etc, etc, etc
I would have to have rocks in my head to go anywhere back east, let alone the Ottawa hellhole of virtue signalling performance. It’s bad enough in downtown Victoria.
Between all the crackheads, junkies, native beggars, alt-lifestyle 5 gendered rainbow haired fools here, it’s enough to avoid downtown at all costs, and I do!
Hey Boomers. Just keep voting #Lieberal and there will be a mural on -your- street. Won’t that be fun?
They have a “mural arts program” in Philly that churns out some of the ugliest pieces of crap you’ve ever seen. Typically, the need for a mural happens when a vacant row home collapses from decades of neglect (brought to you in part by 75 consecutive years of straight democrat rule) and leaves a blank common wall. The themes are almost always political, while also celebrating the rich cultural contributions of a certain, um, “demographic”. Here’s a particularly awful example:
Should have done a mural of Hannibal Lecter (much prettier).
When my parents were alive in the late 1990’s, Dad loved the “whaling” murals done on the walls in White Rock and Victoria. I do not know if they are still there.
However, I have also “had” it with all the political messaging from certain demographics who like to whine and complain about how bad they have. These are the same demographics who have a “loose attachment to the workplace” in HR talk. This means that they “sometimes” show up to work and “sometimes” (more often than not) do NOT show up.
(pssst, dont tell anybody, rumour is the Liberals are setting up a convenient ‘tell’ in the capital to ensure their policies are having the desired effect. ya heard it here 1st but dont tell anybody)
There are all kinds of places like this in Duhottawa.
Think the feds give a fcking shit?
Bahahahaha!
The province?
Yeah no.
The city?
Nope.
But who really, really cares are Liberal women.
Nothing like progressive women to cornhole society.
Their idea of a solution is, “We Need More Narcan!”
I considered updating my emergency training to include NARCAN and then adding to my kit.
Then I asked myself “What the F* for?”
I’ll wait to my next renewal where it is part of the training.
There should be a “three strikes” rule for Narcan. Every time it is administered to someone, a line should be tattooed on their forearm. When someone is overdosing and they have three marks on their forearm, it should be reasonably assumed they are self administering MAID. I mean it is their RIGHT to do so!
I think it might be better to brand the dealer.
But the dealer is just helping to administer MAID! You radical!
Fun fact, British North America used to brand criminals up until 1835. If our political “betters” don’t get a handle on things people may take start taking matters into their own hands.
Well, if you don’t brand them, how will you ever market them?
It’s really self administered MAID.
Who the hell is Rosa Parks and what does she have to do with Ottawa?
