Legacy media and public health officials provided nonstop information about the cyclospora and salmonella outbreaks this summer. Funny that both say nothing about typhoid in LA. How many typhoid cases occurred during the World Cup games in LA while the publuc was kept in the dark? Public health officials and legacy media are selective in determining exactly which diseases pose a public health risk – the narratuve, you know.
