It’s Probably Nothing
So not only is the DHS stockpiling decades of war’s worth of ammunition – which means literally centuries of DHS usage – it’s doing so through front companies that come into being to collect the contract checks and presumably disappear once the checks have been written. The real questions here are who owns or controls Evian Group and what is his/their connection to the Democrat party?
Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors
While I realize some members of the media make their email accounts public — for instance, Ben Smith is ben@buzzfeed.com — it would just be wrong-wrong-wrong to hack those accounts and make public the contents. I just can’t express how wrong it would be. Doing such a thing would make you the mayor of Wrongtown, so please just don’t to it.
I’m serious.
Don’t.
I’m not saying the release of those emails wouldn’t get a lot of attention. But it would be the WRONG kind of attention.
That’s all I’m going to say, because I’m just heartsick over the thought of such a wrong thing happening to aseitz-wald@salon.com or luke.johnson@huffingtonpost.com.
So, so wrong.
Revnant Dream
Via email,
I am Revnant Dream’s sister. I just received word today that Revnant Dream
is in ICU, in isolation at the University of Alberta Hospital. His prognosis
is not good. I request that you say a prayer for him. He wanted to let you
know as he considers those at SDA and BCF a part of his extended family. I
know that he was one of the very early commentors over at BCF and is a long
time poster of comments at SDA. I ask that you keep him in his prayers. The
prayers of your readers are very much appreciated at this time.
Here’s hoping for the best.

In a nutshell
California Gov. Jerry Brown, dismissing Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s radio ads inviting California business owners to avoid California’s high taxes and punitive regulations by moving to Texas:
“Everybody with half a brain is coming to California.”
Ripped From A Law And Order Script
According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, on November 30, 2012, Llaneza met with a man who led him to believe he was connected with the Taliban and the mujahidin in Afghanistan. In reality, this man was an undercover FBI agent. At this initial meeting, Llaneza proposed conducting a car-bomb attack against a bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. He proposed structuring the attack to make it appear that the responsible party was an umbrella organization for a loose collection of anti-government militias and their sympathizers. Llaneza’s stated goal was to trigger a governmental crackdown, which he expected would trigger a right-wing counter-response against the government followed by, he hoped, civil war.
I trust they ruled out any connections to Homeland Security.

Employment Advice
From the Left: A Liberal Academic
From the Right: Captain Capitalism
One wonders what percentage of people between 18 – 25 have ever heard the advice given in the second video?
So special it hurts
Another round of smug self-congratulations, liberal activist style:
Administrators at Northwestern University near Chicago are considering giving reparations to relatives of Arapaho and Cheyenne peoples for a massacre which occurred near the current state of Colorado about 150-years ago.
In November, a group of student activists circulated a petition demanding administrators find a way to compensate the Arapaho and Cheyenne tribes for the Sandy Creek Massacre, which took place November 29, 1864.
So, to recap: some students are demanding that their university administrators pony up reparations for an historic incident that happened three states west of them – more than a thousand miles away – 148 years ago.
Is there even a word for that?

Clare v. Cukier
Sheldon Clare of the NFA is debating Wendy Cukier of Coalition for Gun Control on the CBC fifth estate Webinar tonight.
Welcome to our live chat. Tonight’s fifth estate – Crossfire – takes aim at the furious fight over guns in America. Tune in on CBC Television this evening at 9 PM local time (9:30 NT) and share your thoughts on where you stand. We will be joined by guests on both sides of the firing line starting at 8 PM ET.
I wonder if they’ll take questions from the online audience…assuming there is an audience.
Is There Nothing That Obama Can’t Do?
Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!
Carol Platt Liebau (Harvard Law Review), February 2009 – “[Tom Pirelli] did most of the day to day work. Barack Obama was nowhere to be seen. Occasionally he would drop in he would talk to people, and then he’d leave again as though his very arrival had been a benediction in and of itself, but not very much got done.”
Benghazi Hearings, February 2013 – Under questioning from South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta could not explain why President Barack Obama spoke with him only once on Sept. 11, 2012 during the Benghazi terrorist attack, and never called back for any updates for over seven hours.
Honey, I Finished The Internet
The not-so stupid party?
I’m not convinced yet. I also find the last sentence questionable.
…Barack Obama will have to accept that reality and get serious about budget reform on the other side of the ledger.
I don’t believe that Obama is mentally capable enough to get serious about anything except how many rabbits he can get out of his genetic lottery win.

How dry is it?
So incredibly dry that the truth turns to dust and blows away:
“Climate experts tell us that the current drought is the worst ever. Except for all the other ones which were worse.”
