I am Revnant Dream’s sister. I just received word today that Revnant Dream
is in ICU, in isolation at the University of Alberta Hospital. His prognosis
is not good. I request that you say a prayer for him. He wanted to let you
know as he considers those at SDA and BCF a part of his extended family. I
know that he was one of the very early commentors over at BCF and is a long
time poster of comments at SDA. I ask that you keep him in his prayers. The
prayers of your readers are very much appreciated at this time.

Here’s hoping for the best.

  10. ahh geez I wish him well. I always appreciated his comments. And he is right..Kate’s blog IS an extended family. I can appreciate where he is, just before Christmas I was taken to hospital and they told me that my chances of surviving were 75/25, with the 75 not in my favour. But I’m a stubborn ba$tard, and walked out of the hospital 8 days later.
    I wish him well…contrarians are sometimes tough to kill….

  17. Revnant is a clear and deep thinker, with comments reflecting everything that is and was right in this world. It is the Revnants and Kens and Gords etc that have helped create the society that we have enjoyed and prospered under. It will only stay if we have more people thinking like Revnant and most of the commenters on this and many other boards. Good luck Revnant, and I won’t be in a peaked roof to pray for you cause I do that looking west to the beautiful mountains with the sunlight bright behing the huge chinook arch glistening off those mountains.

  18. RD knows who his friends are and I also will take him before the Lord in prayer knowing He hears our prayers.
    I am dealing with health issues myself and knowing others are praying is a great blessing in times of need.
    Be encouraged Rev: the Lord is with you. May you feel surrounded by the thoughts and prayers coming from SDA at this critical time.

  45. This is very bad news but I do thank you, Revnant Dream’s sister, for letting all of us here at SDA know about the health crisis facing Revnant Dream. If the Rev’s comments here are any indication of the person he is then the thought of him departing this earth will be almost more than his family can bear. All the Rev’s comments that I have read (and I always do read all of the Rev’s comments if I see them) have indicated, to me, that he has a huge heart and a magnificent mind. Revnant Dream loves Our Lord and the Good that The Lord teaches; I shall pray for you Revnant Dream and your family. I am honored to be in the league of voices asking the the Lord to take care of one of His own.
