Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

John Nolte;

While I realize some members of the media make their email accounts public — for instance, Ben Smith is ben@buzzfeed.com — it would just be wrong-wrong-wrong to hack those accounts and make public the contents. I just can’t express how wrong it would be. Doing such a thing would make you the mayor of Wrongtown, so please just don’t to it.
I’m serious.
Don’t.
I’m not saying the release of those emails wouldn’t get a lot of attention. But it would be the WRONG kind of attention.
That’s all I’m going to say, because I’m just heartsick over the thought of such a wrong thing happening to aseitz-wald@salon.com or luke.johnson@huffingtonpost.com.

So, so wrong.

  1. Ahhh Kate. The sarcasm in your post is delicious and oh so true. The venality and hypocrisy of the left leaves one almost speechless. The day before yesterday I lunched with a business acquaintance who is a leftist through and through. He defended every outrage directed at George W Bush by his ilk, and was utterly adamant that Obama was essentially the saviour of the world.
Any effort I made to point out that Obama was a narcisstic phoney was rebuffed…he simply wouldn’t hear it.
And that, apparently, is the way the world waggles, and in the next four years, we will all suffer as a result.

  2. Ho hum – another wing of the political elite demand a level of secrecy/unaccountability to work in which is not available to the rest of us. On a more personal level this is the media demanding privacy rights while at the same time feeling free to violate the privacy of firearms owners by publishing their names and addresses without permission.
It’s obvious the mavens of modern advocacy media are as neurotic as the debased political causes they pander. It takes a special kind of megalomania to ignore the noxious hypocrisy of a quidnunc journalist consortium demanding supra privacy rights when they are in the business of violating privacy.
St. Augustine would call this kind of agenda to seek immunity from the common restraints of morality, “Libido Dominandi”.

  3. I think I know what would be in them. Most of the e-mails would be forwarded jokes about the Holocaust and dumb rednecks, pornographic “love letters” and arrangements for “dates” back and forth from their partners in perversion, and notes from Mrs. Huffington, last of a long line of Greek kleptocrats, at turns forwarding the current bankster, communist and Muslim line of the issues and informing them where to stick their demands for payment.

  4. Yeah they are still smarting about the exposure of “Journolist”.
    And ClimateGate emails……

  5. “outed” internal memos at BBC exposed their bi-ass against Jews and for muzzies, expossing the lies and the were for of these lies would hurt the poor deers. If they would only quit lying there would be no need to hack their “privacy”

  6. This appears to be a political ‘bombshell’ about corruption among the bureaucrats at the Supreme Court in the USA:
    http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/?p=388715
All about clerks deleting court hearings re: Barry S. (O bhama) birth certificate. Where is the press gang???
Our PM has the opposite problem with the bureaucrats/msm in Canada.
We have a problem – it is ‘dare I name it’ – the corruption of ‘news spinners’, world wide. Who is ‘paying’ these people? Always follow the money when dealing with corruption. I wonder if ‘Unca Mo’, Billy Gates, Huffington…and the rest of that murder of crows at meeting at Davos, Switzerland have anything to add…questions from the press gang?
