Until now, no randomised trial had compared Tamiflu with no antiviral in critically ill patients.
The international REMAP-CAP trial has now done that—and found no benefit. More patients died with Tamiflu than without it.

A “trans-inclusive” Australian Rules Football team in California allowed a 6’1″ man to compete with the women. Our Quillette investigation identified him as an ex-con who’d been sentenced to 41 years in jail for raping children.

CNN was forced to apologize to Dolly Parton’s family for mistakenly using a photo of a Las Vegas impersonator of the country music legend while reporting on her death.
The cable news network aired an image of tribute artist Kelly Vohnn as it covered Parton’s Tuesday death from cancer — leaving the 58-year-old Vohnn stunned as friends began bombarding her with messages.
The errant image were broadcast during “Laura Coates Live” some 12 hours after Parton’s death was announced by her family.

Moe: “We cannot in any way support the adding of export tariffs on a product like oil”
“Again, this is only a function of a flawed policy discussion that we have had in this nation over the course of the last decade or better, where we see those very, in all too often, those very same individuals that are promoting export tariffs on a product like oil, 10 years ago, were the very same individuals standing up and saying we should not build important energy security infrastructure like the Energy East Pipeline.” – Scott Moe
Think about this: The top three contributors to Saskatchewan’s GDP is oil, potash and ag, with oil and potash vying for top spot (usually it’s oil, but potash might beat it this year). If we put an export tax on any of those, we’re shooting ourself through the foot, floor, and neighbour’s ceiling in the apartment below us.

‘Shocking’ study shows link between transgender ideology and left-wing violence
Trump administration-funded researchers and independent collaborators found a startling correlation between proponents of a transgender ideology and left-wing violence, according to a new report obtained by The Post and set to be released Wednesday.
The new study from researchers at Rutgers University, the right-leaning Manhattan Institute and Network Contagion Research Institute found that those normalizing transgender beliefs were more likely to be supportive of political violence.
Respondents were quizzed about six potential targets of political violence for the study: “killing Charlie Kirk, killing Donald Trump, killing Brian Thompson, arson of ICE buildings, damaging wealthy people’s property, and violence against police.”

Lady Churchill told Olive that when Sir Winston heard the Canadian election results “he was so excited he danced.” And when Olive remarked that everyone seemed interested in the outcome, Churchill shook his jowls: “Interested? …Why shouldn’t they be? It is the most important event since the end of the war.”
The above is in reference to John Diefenbaker winning the June 1957 election in Canada, defeating the Liberal government of Louis St Laurent. That said, Churchill was vehemently opposed to tariffs his entire life.

Just everyone who was paying attention: Who would have thought that an American far-left radical terrorist group would make common cause with Islamic terror groups, when the two groups’ agendas seem so misaligned?
They’re not misaligned.
Far-left terrorism poses a profound threat to the United States and the broader West. Today, the United States sanctioned several transnational far-left terrorist networks, including Autistici/Inventati – a major far-left tech collective whose services are used by the most active…
