Sage Advice for Pierre Poilievre

The 2024 U.S. Presidential campaign seemed to make it clear that never again will any American electorate allow any presidential candidate to go forward without engaging in a series of real, unscripted long form interviews (unless both opponents are unwilling to do so). Corrupt Carney clearly will never engage in such interviews. But Poilievre could and should. For the past many months, he seems to have followed the age-old playbook of being stage managed by handlers. There are strong indications that this will guarantee he will lose the next federal election. To prevent that, a prominent Canadian has some advice for him:

Embrace Hollywood!

“Democrats need to embrace Hollywood because this is where they need to come to learn how to tell a story.“ – Michael Moore.

The remake’s big idea was to twist the idea of the word “fair.” See, in earlier versions of Snow White, an evil queen asks a magic mirror, “Who is the fairest of them all?” It’s always the queen, until one day the mirror responds that it’s actually her stepdaughter, the Princess Snow White. The question, “who is the fairest,” in other words, has always been a question about beauty. But in the remake, there’s something else going on. The movie goes to great lengths to demonstrate that the queen isn’t fair because she’s not a socialist. I am not kidding.

Socialized Credit

If anyone believes that you are “sticking it to the man” by withdrawing all the funds from your bank account in “cash”, think again. Our fiat currency system has got you coming and going. It’s not a bug; it was designed that way.

In fiat, your only real choice is this: if you wish to access credit at all, you must participate in a system where the coercive extension of credit creates an exponentially rising debt doom loop that all must shoulder the burden of.

The final collapse of fiat will occur when the burden of debt exceeds the ability of any debtor, no matter how large their balance sheet, to service it. When lost capital can no longer be replaced with fresh capital from a more creditworthy institution, one can arrive at a situation where bank notes are literally backed by nothing. A bank note backed by nothing can purchase nothing. It will not matter how many are released into the economy at that point. They will be worthless. It will be the Zimbabwe solution in spades.

The Feminization of Human Psychology

The very first time that my hat flooded with water, I was at around a hundred feet. I was a new diver and was wearing a KM-37 (a fiberglass helmet painted yum-yum yellow with the words U.S. NAVY written across it) that was filling up fast. Despite my rising panic, I managed to do what they had taught me, crack a valve called the steady-flow and tilt my head down and to the right. A torrent of air ripped into my helmet to do battle with the inflooding water, making a sound that made me feel as if my head had been stuffed inside one of those Dyson hand dryers that drip in the corners of airport bathrooms.

I tried to talk to topside, but the combination of the screaming air and the seawater covering my nose and mouth rendered any attempt at words unintelligible. I shoved frantically at the flap of neoprene that had inverted at the back of my neck, which was still bubbling with incoming water. Then, the bubbling stopped. With my last bit of air, I blew hard, hoping to clear enough of the water that I could breathe, and—when I finally stood up on the bottom of the sea floor—I took a ragged breath. When the rest of the water was purged from my helmet, I secured the steady-flow and sat down on the sandy ground, grateful to be alive.

When one of my graduate professors asked the class if anyone had any close calls that had stuck with them, I raised my hand and told that story. The responses from my classmates, however compassionate, confused me. People told me that they were sorry I had to go through that and “Wow, that must have been traumatic”—but it wasn’t traumatic at all. It was badass. Sure, it was intense and damned stressful. It was one of a handful of times in my life when I was almost certain I wasn’t going to make it out of a situation, but it wasn’t trauma.

This was perhaps the first time that I realized the extent to which I wasn’t a natural fit for the field of psychotherapy.

Once again, the Hamas-supporting mob will take to the streets of Toronto to explicitly deny Israel’s right to exist — the textbook definition of antisemitism.

Sights like these are no longer uncommon because Canada’s Liberal government has refused to stand against even the most vile behaviour happening in plain sight — in fact they’ve encouraged it with your tax dollars.

Our Canadian values are under attack right before our eyes – pretending not to see it is simply shameful.
