Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
Shocking and immoral. I know the expression … “God sees, but he waits”. Sorry … some people need immediate pestilence and disease. Die horrible, painful deaths of bowel cancer or something. Sorry Lord, forgive my lack of compassion. But I refuse to participate in suicidal compassion
Chill, Kenji, and recall another expression…”Vengeance is mine, and I will repayeth, saith the Lord.”
Excuse my King James Elizabethan spelling.
Don’t lisp when reading it or you may sound like the Blackie Hole.
Have a nice day.
Ezra got one thing wrong. The Amish are NOT poor. They pool their resources, which are rather immense. Such resources are dedicated to their lifestyle. I have no doubt they could have paid those pending fees in cash. They chose not to quite correctly. The other being that while the “raw milk” issue was part of the catalyst to get them to the polls this past election, another more clear reason was that they are pacifist by nature. They will, always, support the political candidate that says “NO NEW WARS” and means it. Trump had a previous tenure in the White House where he earned that reputation. The Mennonites in the US hold very much the same doctrine but on a less strict and fundamental level.
Nothing shows the need for a Canadian DOGE like how the army of Federal Bureaucrats marched lockstep with enforcing the stupid illogical threatening harm causing orders given during the Lockdowns. This sounds similar to how religious exemptions were totally and intentionally tossed aside for healthcare workers. If power is so easily abused by public servants during times of crisis, one effective way to reduce abuse is to have much fewer public servants.
Or dispense with the federal government entirely.
The bureaucracies of both Canada and the US are evil.
Bureaucracy was invented by F. Scott FitzGerald’s transatlantic cousin, B. Euro FitzGerald.
Little people with big jobs that can’t and won’t see past regulations. I think they actually enjoy picking on the helpless.
They’re gonna shit themselves when the “helpless” rear up & fight back.
This is just one more reason I no longer love my country. We have allowed the filthy leftists turn Canada into a fool’s gulag. Not all of us … just those who vote for the filthy Liberals and the handful of idiots who still vote for the filthy NDP. The bloc heads in Quebec are useless to anyone but Quebeckers.
Mr. Trump …. let the annexation begin ….. Please …
So, one autumn Sunday afternoon southern Ontario veterinarian was driving around some rural roads enjoying the fabulous autumn colors, when he noticed a horse and buggy on the shoulder of the road. As he slowed down, he noticed a man who was behind the horse had his bare arm all the way up the horse’s back end. He immediately said that he was a veterinarian and maybe he could help if there was a difficult birth going on. The man said ‘no, it’s OK I am an Amish mechanic doing roadside assistance.
You’re welcome.
