  1. God help us if we elect this wef stouge.
Never even elected, he was installed.
    He’s trudeau on steroids.

    1. He’s not going to be elected
He has the charm of a piece of wet toast and the liberals don’t get enthusiastic about someone that looks like the guy that drives up in a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce rolls down the window and asks if you have any Grey Poupon.

  2. Lost any remaining respect for the BBC when they took for gospel what the CBC told them about the Trucker’s Convoy rather than finding out about it fot themselves. News Networks, like Lawyers and Doctors protect their own, I guess. Haven’t yet heard Carney’s position on funding the CBC.

  3. Sad isn’t it, I can’t believe how many people think Carney is Canada’s future. He’s far to radical to be allowed near the halls of power, we’ll be Ireland over night if he wins.

  4. The City quickly nick-named him ‘the unreliable boyfriend’ for his constant changes of direction on interest rates.”

Hahahaha ha ha … now THAT’S journalism!

  5. Quite the contrast – An unjaundiced look at this bristly, ankle skater compared to Canada’s never ending line of Carney Fluffers.
Although to be fair…I rather liked how Barton challenged him.
Almost had a spell on the fainting couch.

    1. “ankle skater”? Sounds deliciously derisive … but down here where the ponds rarely freeze over … I’m unfamiliar with the term.

    2. La belle Rosemary was stinging from the loss of Justin (she wouldn’t be able to interview him nearly as often) and took it out on the hapless Governor Carney.

  6. “Carney is the epitome of a remote, globalized, technocratic elite. He is very good at self-promotion, at collecting trophy jobs and of course negotiating fabulously generous salaries and expenses for himself along the way. He is just not very good at delivering.”

Off the top of my head, I think I could name more than a dozen different people that fall into this category. And, you’d recognize all the names.

    1. So true of so many of today’s over-credentialed, over-hyped “stars” in politics, business, science and academia.

      1. Why d’ya s’pose there’s been such an increase in the amount of consulting ordered by politicians? Because they’re all a bunch of pig-ignorant, know-nothing idiots. If breathing wasn’t an autonomic response, they’d all have suffocated at birth.

        1. You bring up a good point. Almost always, the “leaders” politically are members of a very incestuous community. It’s remarkable, for example, how all these people know each other outside of the office. We have the same down in the US. Bob Dole, Senator (Elizabeth Dole, Secretary of Transportation), Alan Greenspan (Andrea Mitchell, journalist), Cass Sunstein (Samantha Power)….the list is long.

  7. The trait that Carney shares with the vast majority of politicians despite his total inexperience is his sociopathy. He has a vision that he documented in his “Values” book but his socialized media (likely Canada’s most reprehensible and telling feature) won’t be calling him out on it. Coming from the world of corporate rent seeking and fraudulent Bankster manipulation, he has no qualms with practicing deception on a level that would make a street criminal blush.
