Blacklock’s- “Deleted” Evidence Is Found

ArriveCan managers yesterday abruptly announced they’d discovered thousands of “deleted” emails involving business with contractors now under RCMP investigation.

“We trust this clarifies any potential misinterpretation,” Erin O’Gorman, president of the Agency, wrote the Commons government operations committee.

MPs last June 5 ordered the Agency to produce the records. President O’Gorman replied October 18 the evidence was destroyed. “There were no backup files accessible following the account deletion,” she wrote.

I, Napoleon

Townhall;

Female athletes have lost nearly 900 medals to so-called “transgender” athletes. These are men who think they’re women and believe that they are entitled to compete in women’s sports. The shocking statistic comes from a United Nations report titled ”Violence against women and girls in sports.”

“According to information received, by 30 March 2024, over 600 female athletes in more than 400 competitions have lost more than 890 medals in 29 different sports,” the report explicitly states.

“The replacement of the female sports category with a mixed-sex category has resulted in an increasing number of female athletes losing opportunities, including medals, when competing against males,” it added.

This shatters the left’s narrative that men competing against women, and winning, is a “rare” occurrence.

“Male athletes have specific attributes considered advantageous in certain sports, such as strength and testosterone levels that are higher than those of the average range for females, even before puberty, thereby resulting in the loss of fair opportunity,” the study acknowledged.

I’m surprised the report managed to see the light of day

We Don’t Need No Flaming Fire Engines

Just The News;

An electric emergency vehicle belonging to a fire department in Germany caught fire and burnt down the new fire station.

The fire, which occurred on Oct. 16, according to Euro News, started from a vehicle that “contained lithium-ion batteries and an external power connection.” The blaze destroyed nearly a dozen emergency vehicles and caused between $21.5 million and $25.9 million in damage. No one was injured.

The stations, which opened a year ago, didn’t have a fire alarm system, Euro News reported because “experts considered it not necessary.”

National Post- Ontario man granted euthanasia for controversial ‘post COVID-19 vaccination syndrome’

Identified as “Mr. A,” the man experienced “suffering and functional decline” following three vaccinations for SARS-CoV-2. He also suffered from depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and personality disorders, and, “while navigating his physical symptoms,” was twice admitted to hospital, once involuntarily, with thoughts of suicide.

A Not So Fine Dining Experience

During the pandemic, the dictators assured us that restaurant closures would not be an issue, since the economy would easily “recover” afterwards. Add in the recent hikes in minimum wages and it comes as no surprise that the marginal consumer has evidently reached a very different conclusion.

Late last week, anonymous sources told Bloomberg that TGI Fridays was preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and was in talks with lenders who could possible keep the company afloat in the meantime.

In related news, Denny’s is scaling back its operations in accordance with the declining fortunes of its customers.

Denny’s is closing 150 restaurants over the next year, and the 71-year-old diner chain is mulling a major change to its 24/7 operating hours.

Fifty locations are set to close by the end of 2024, while the remaining 100 will shutter in 2025, Denny’s announced in an earnings call Tuesday.

Wow…. just… wow…

Election 2024: Saskatchewan Green Party wants to transition away from fossil fuels, but have fossil fuels pay for their green agenda

You can’t make this stuff up.

The Saskatchewan Green Party proposes to  “Make Green Jobs the future of Saskatchewan’s economy by transitioning away from fossil fuels,” while financing its extensive socialist policy platform by modelling Norway which applies “a whopping 78 percent total tax” on oil and gas revenues.

Notably, it includes five pages discussing the Greens opposition to small modular reactors. And the policy document closes by saying on the last page, “How do we pay for it? The Saskatchewan Green Party is dedicated to building a prosperous future for our province. It is time to raise royalty rates in the oil & gas sector to levels that truly reflect the value of our resources. We would use Norway as an example. Norway has a 51 percent tax on petroleum-related income, on top of the 27 percent income tax. That amounts to a whopping 78 percent total tax. This is put into a fund to benefit all citizens.”

That page does not list any other major revenue source, or indeed any revenue source at all, other than heavily taxing oil and gas, the same oil and gas earlier in the document the party promises to transition away from. If the party does succeed in “transitioning away from fossil fuels,” (Page 17) it offers no other source of revenue on the “How do we pay for it?” page (Page 61).

Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

David HarsanyiIt’s not that the Atlantic’s Editor-in-Chief, Jeffery Goldberg, has the journalistic ethics of a drunk National Enquirer reporter. It’s that the entire media spreads his gossip without a hint of skepticism.

The Atlantic, which loses tens of millions of dollars every year, is owned by billionaire Laurene Powell Jobs, who isn’t worried about the magazine’s 164-year tradition of “challenging assumptions and pursuing truth.” Rather, as she explained to her ”close” and “genuine” friend, Vice President Kamala Harris, at an event not long ago, she wants to lift up “cultural narratives” that will create “a more just and equal society.”

Goldberg’s 2024 narrative is suffering from the same problems his 2020 “suckers and losers” hit piece did. Anonymous sources make claims that a bunch of on-the-record people contradict. There’s a 0% chance that any reputable newspaper, 10-20 years ago, would have run a story about a president demeaning fallen American servicemen based on an anonymous source without any corroboration.

Indeed: 2016 vibes.

Toronto Star- Home-care patients say critical medical supplies have stopped arriving since Ontario government changed distribution system

Around the end of September, Patti Moss and Steve Clark began to notice that things were missing in the package of medical supplies delivered to her home.

The couple from Bradford have been managing Clark’s pain and treatment from home after he was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in August.

First, it was a syringe that was missing from a delivery of saline solution that Clark needs to keep him hydrated after receiving chemotherapy. Then, instead of a high-flow line needed to deliver the saline to Clark intravenously, a low-flow line was sent. Two weeks ago, the saline bags just didn’t show up.
