I’ll take Brad Wall’s political instincts and will over PM Trudeau’s unicorn farts every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
So, about those refugees?
So, in other words, they weren’t refugees, they were rushed immigrants.
Making it Up
as they go along.
Why, it’s almost as if they just weren’t ready.
Not exactly as advertised.
“Government by cabinet is back” – Trudeau
Except the ‘cabinet’ he meant was the Party Whip.
Oh, Shiny Prime Minister!
.@JohnGormleyShow I think we have a Prime Minister with an IQ of 80. That's what I think. #Trudeau #ISIS

Via Castanet, as no mainstream outlets are quoting this portion;
“We think we ought to avoid doing precisely what our enemies want us to do: they want us to elevate them, to give in to fear, to indulge in hatred,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told a news conference Monday.
“The lethal enemy of barbarism isn’t hatred, it’s reason. And the people terrorized by ISIL every day don’t need our vengeance, they need our help.”
Say, is it too soon to talk about the lisp?
And The Budget Will Balance Itself

Coyne is perplexed.
This is … odd: Canada’s PM forgets Jews in statement on Holocaust https://t.co/TQpAOMN14s

Yes, “odd”.

Oh, Shiny Prime Minister!
Well, that was awkward.
Did you know that Canada is cool again?
After a decade of uncool Stephen Harper, the NY Times has decided that Canada is “Suddenly … Hip”. An American colleague brought this article to my attention, thinking that I’d be gushing with joy that “once again” I come from a cool country. She was rather shocked, and dare I say disappointed, to hear that I wasn’t a fan boy of Justine ‘Shiny Pony’ Trudeau.
I went on a mini-rant, stating my belief that Trudeau is merely a puppet figure, with the real levers of power back in the crafty hands of the Laurentian Elite. When she heard this, she immediately said, “Oh you mean like during the George W. Bush years?” To this I responded, “More like the Obama years.” This didn’t sit well with her. She pursed her lips, turned around, and walked away.
I got to thinking how incredibly effective the predominately left-wing media is at spin and shaping opinions. My colleague is no dummy but undoubtedly most of her life she has predominately (only?) heard leftist opinions on all things political. To believe that Barack Obama is a magnanimous free-thinker who considers all of the facts at hand and makes the best decisions for America is preposterous at best and more likely akin to idiotic. But such is the mindset for at least 35% of Americans.

Canada not invited to anti-ISIS coalition meeting in Paris

Bumped for update.
“I want Justin Trudeau, instead of condemning (the attacks) solely with words and his little mouth, to do it with airplanes,” Camille Carrier, mother of 37-year-old victim Maude Carrier, told Montreal’s 98.5 FM on Monday. “I am ashamed.” […]
To the television station TVA, Carrier said Monday, “I’m revolted … (Justin Trudeau) walks around with his nice hair spouting his empty theories, he’s on television condemning things but he’s not capable of joining in with the others who are supporting the French.”
Allahu Akbar!
Oh, Shiny Prime Minister!
Oh, Shiny Prime Minister!
HAHAHAHA! CARP says in a December 29 press release that it is “outraged” by the government’s betrayal.

Defend Democracy
Via email;
I’ve taken up a cause called Defend Democracy. We just launched it last week, and the point of it is to put as much pressure on JT as we can to get him to commit to calling a referendum on electoral reform. Our position is aggressively neutral on the question of reform itself; our argument is simply that Canadians themselves must have the final say over any reform package in a national vote.
Right now the cornerstone of the effort is an e-petition on the new House of Commons e-petition service, but we also have a landing page and Facebook/Twitter pages up.
My question today is if you’d be willing to help to raise the profile of the cause on Small Dead Animals? Maybe a button on the site, or if we get any media coverage you’d be willing to post them in the blog.
| The site is www.DefendDemocracy.ca – the petition, Facebook, and Twitter are all linked to from there. | ![]() |
