  1. “Unicorn farts”? That wasn’t in the Liberal platform. They promised to end global warming. And we all know that animal flatulence is the major cause of ozone depletion and heating the planet.

  2. Brad wall has a point.. It should be noted that Trump has said that “all the solutions for climate change are BS” and any good CEO doesn’t fund BS for an settled science that is unsettled..
Why the hurry for this energy policy? Someone have a deadline that won’t wait until Nov 12

  3. Has any leftie ever explained (calmly, rationally, scientifically and truthfully) what good a carbon tax would do … for the “environment”? We all know it would give the lunatic children a lot more money to piss away but other than that?

  4. Get with the program Cascadia. Unicorn farts provide 100x the energy by volume of coal or oil with a zero CO2 footprint. The only thing more powerful than Unicorn Farts is Pixie Dust.

  5. “The only thing more powerful than Unicorn Farts is Pixie Dust.”
    …don’t forget the Rainbow Gumdrops!

  6. A carbon tax is supposed to “temporarily” supply money to fund alternative energy technologies that reduce CO2 output while meeting energy needs; just like the Income Tax was suppose to “temporarily” supply money to fund the costs associated with the First World War. There is not a politician, living or dead, who has met a “temporary” tax that didn’t make its way into general revenues and become a permanent “revenue tool.”

  7. I didn’t know that Trump has said that. Halleluja. Finally a politician dares to speak the truth.

  8. Nice to see PM Butts and his bong smokin buddy Justine still have Liberal party operatives like the Glob@Plops Mason out there selling the Librano climate shakedown… Wall is in for a good old fashioned Media beat down if he doesn’t get on board with the Club of Rome agenda, hope he can withstand the thuggery about to come his way… Krusty Clarks Liberal Government is “conservative”? You gotta be effing kidding me… Mason must’ve fallen off his gay unicorn and smashed his skull on a magic beanstock, again, or perhaps he’s just a lying media POS attempting to condition the empty headed masses with “progressive” BS, probably both.

  9. The carbon tax is just another means by which the rich elitist left can impoverish we, the great unwashed, and make sure we stay that way.

  10. According to the left, all we need to survive is ample helpings of sunshine, rainbows, and the flatulence from a mythical creature.

  11. I have had my rum cocktail now, so my lips are lubricated. The only Republican that was open to climate change funding was Jeb Bush… “Trump fired him last night”! The only CNN hack that noticed that Trump didn’t mention Jeb was VAN Jones.. a Terrible slur not to mention Jeb.. He Said…. Trump sent a message to those that insist on a vindicate agenda that they have a problem. He is funding his own campaign, but that does not mean that others can’t go after the cockroaches outside the political ring.. Macys is in trouble…

  12. Does anybody take the Mop and Pail (as the old “Frank” magazine used call it) seriously any more?
As for Gary Mason, if you look at his bio on the M & P’s website, he moved from the western Lotusland to the one down east (sometimes known as Tronna). No surprise there, considering the drivel he writes.
Christy Clark is just another money-hungry politician. Dangle enough cash in front of her and one can pretty much do as one pleases. That’s one reason why foreign drug lords like to use Vancouver as a place to launder their loot and, by moving there, drive up the price of housing.

  13. Step one, bring in migrants. Step two, implement a carbon tax.
Lets hope Sask. can break-up and reveal Turdeaus’s green ponzi scheme, before Junior
gets to step 3 and beyond.

  14. Brad Wall is a very long way from being a conservative.
He talks a good game sometimes, but what has he done really? any crown corps sold off/privatized?
He wants to abolish the senate.
He’s got a massive mandate and is squandering it. Pathetic. I do wish Sask conservatives would get on his case more.

  15. “Calmly, rationally, scientifically and truthfully”?
    Surely you jest, my friend!
Lefties never apply ANY of these modifiers to their ‘thinking’!

  16. Ford I whole heartedly agree , I absolutely like brad wall I think he is doing a good job …but by no means is he a true conservative . He is pulling a Harper by being polite , kind, intelligent , patient and just all around a good proffessional politician but as stated many times pleasing your enemies does not make them your friends.
The way I stated above wall is handling things it should be noted he is being all of those to morlocks, they are selfish savage individuals they despise wall …so again stop trying to play the middle …the left aren’t and go to the right. Privatize everything, push looser gun laws, lower taxes, freeze gov wages , slash beurocrats wages in half Ect Ect.

  17. Wall may not be a true conservative in many ways to social conservatives and may just well be more pragmatic. He is definitely for growing Saskatchewan in a private enterprise way without socialism strangling the economy. He did promise during the last election not to privatize crown corporations but he is bringing in private liquor sales outlets to compete with the government outlets. I expect that if re-elected this spring he will move even further on the private liquor sales and begin work on dismantling other areas.
At this point, he is the only sane clear headed voice for taxpayers, and hopefully he can coalesce some opposition to PM Butts.

  18. If the point of a carbon tax is to reduce consumption, shouldn’t it be on the consumer end? What does taxing Alberta oil and exporting it to the US do? It encourages them to buy Middle Eastern oil. Does it reduce consumption? No.

  19. Good on Mr. Wall.
The other thing he needs to tell mr butts is no more transfer
    payments.
They don’t want our oil, we don’t send em transfer payments!
Lord knows were going to need the money to fix our highways.
    # 1 east of my place is going to need a lot of work this summer.
the first thing they need to do is drop the weight these
transports are carrying in my opinion.
Seems we fix a road and in no time its pounded out again!

  20. I imagine that poor Brad Wall will be a lonely man at the next Premiers’ get-together. He will undoubtedly be left off the guest list for post-meeting cocktails and be excluded from the self-congratulatory back patting that will ensue after a day of sheer idiocy.
Considering the lack of character and intelligence of the likes of Notley, Wynne, Selinger, etc., I’m sure that Mr. Wall would prefer it that way. I know I would.

  21. Yes, but this will be his third mandate and he is only just getting around to doing a few things. Besides getting slapped around by the Supreme Court in dealing with the unions and privatizing a few liquor stores, I expected a bit more. I don’t think that he will be around for 5 mandates, so slow and steady won’t cut it.
