‘Secret vote’ for Trump seen by GOP and Dem pollsters.
Trump has a good week keeping to message and then has a bad week stuffing his head up his ass.
Instead of focusing on the economy, he and his surrogates spend a week attacking the family of a soldier who died in the service of his country. Clinton, much?
Instead of talking about jobs and trade, he falls into the Democratic trap of denying Putin.
The man is a walking disaster but he’s all the Republicans have.
Why should I sell your grain?
Now, what does this remind you of?
“We didn’t realize the LCBO considered this a licensee sale,” Korberg explained in an interview with CTVNews.ca. That means the LCBO charges the vineyard as if it has sold the bottle to the LCBO for distribution, then charges them to buy it back. “This is a bottle of wine that has never left the property. The wine in the bottle is made 100 per cent by the grapes grown by our own property, by us, and I have to give half the cost of that bottle to the LCBO in order to sell that wine by the glass on my own property,” he said.

When this is the goal: Officials predicted earlier this year that the newer model would find average overpayments of $1,739, up from the $1,047 identified during the first generation of the program.
And this is the result: The average overpayment identified under the newer model was $861 between May and August 2015, a drop from the $957 average during the same period in 2014.
This is not the correct conclusion: The department said it’s too early to say if the recalibrated system is meeting expectations.
Oh, bugger off.
Opposition says Liberals not doing enough to boost economy.
I guess if we’re going to defeat the Conservatives over a recession that never happened, I guess we’re supposed to harangue the Liberals into doing more.
Thank you but they’re doing quite enough, thank you. The only thing gov’t, any gov’t, does efficiently is hire civil servants.

Don’t count on it.
It’s unlikely that the media are going to en-masse recognize their bias, but perhaps if the Trump campaign has taught the media anything, it’s to ratchet down the rhetoric so that words mean something again.
Oh, Shiny Canadians
Your bunk resistance meter was totally empty last year, wasn’t it?

Sorry Rob.
Sure, the media hated you, but even with bad-press you couldn’t compete with this level of crazy-mayor. Anyone know his party affiliation, or if he has one?
And answered: Republican.

Evening update: The coup appears to have failed, with both sides claiming control.
Nailed it.
A referendum on any proposed change to how we elect our government is a must. Not only because such a change requires the consent of the governed, but doing so would require the Liberals to actually define what the change is going to be.
Liberal opposition to a plebiscite more likely stems from the fear it would go decidedly against them, and ruin their chance to gerrymander the electoral system to favour the election of future Liberal governments.

Meanwhile, 100 years ago, the Battle of the Somme started today, so Canadians would be remiss without recognition of this:

BoJo is out.
Boris Johnson is out for the Conservative leadership.
I don’t get it.
Is it because every modern media person seems to have gotten their start at CBC that they defend it so? It does all of their jobs, radio, TV or web, and does them for ‘free’. That effectively sets the price for all other content providers to squat.
Cause, folks, the CBC is eating you and there ain’t a whole lot left on the carcass, if you know what I mean.
Fromer was a key figure on The Morning Show since its inception in 2011 and her role, along with a number of others across the Global News network, has been impacted as a result of the changing and highly competitive media landscape in Canada.
Isn’t it about time the CBC had to compete for viewers and advertising like the private networks?
