  1. I get a kick out of liberals. On Monday, June 27-16, CBC.Ca, the official propaganda machine for the Liberal Party of Canada, ran an article that compares auto makers to pipelines and big oil and how government policies deal with them and climate change. Not really a good or a bad article, just one of 100s that promote liberal ideas, and that’s nothing new coming from the CBC.

I have 2 questions. A: What happens if we start changing CO2 and other levels of gases in the atmosphere, and countries such as Russia, China or India start experiencing negative climate changes, IE the types of drought that we experienced here in SW Saskatchewan during the 1930’s and 1980’s?? B: Will the nuclear weapons they send out here in retaliation not affect our climate??

“Brexit: Siemens Freezes New Wind Power Projects”
“The EU is truly losing its grip, if recipients of EU “largesse” reject the EU at the ballot box. The Brexit campaign, and the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), receives some of its strongest support from places like Hull, working class cities which are frequently listed as “deprived”.
Greens often try to paint support for climate policies as a left / right issue, but the truth is far more nuanced. Despite unwavering support for green causes from elite left wing British politicians, the reality is there are plenty of “Reagan Democrats” throughout the world, who are open to persuasion about issues which directly affect their own lives – as UKIP proved with the massive Brexit defections they engineered in places like Hull, some of the most staunchly left wing regions in Britain. Without UKIPs effort to appeal to the left, the Brexit vote would have failed.”

  6. While some (even many) individual voters may not be informed with respect to a referendum issue, because large numbers participate, the results tend to balance out — that is, the uninformed voters on one side cancel out the uninformed voters on the other side. While this may seem like specious logic, there is research that larger numbers of participants result in better decision making. The alternative is to have a small group of ìnformed`specialists making decisions, and many of them tend to think myopically left or right. Too many people who think alike for sure make bad decisions. I think they were all informed specialists who set up the Soviet Union. People who think they know what is best for the rest of us often get into trouble.

  8. OK something is starting to smell funny…
A large house exploded in pieces in Mississauga YESTERDAY AFTERNOON damaging and causing the closure of a large swat of the region…
At this time we still do not know who owns/lives in that house. We do not know the name of the one reported dead. We do not know the cause of the very powerful explosion…The most plausible “accident” cause would be a gas leak…Wouldn’t we know this by now? Other than that, it could be a suicide by gas…
This AM, CBC reporter on the scene said:
“A large number of hand written notes seemingly blown from the house has been amassed and given to the authorities for evidence…” Suicide?
It just seems so slow in having answers…
Is it the fact the Three Amigos summit is on at the same time…Government and media black out until they are certain it is not Islam related?

Most of the market world is today essentially where it was the day before the vote”
“As the world marks the first week anniversary of last Thursday’s Brexit vote, it’s time for a review of the carnage — the record-setting demolition of trillions in market value, the Lehman Brothers-like tipping point to financial meltdown, the currency devaluations, the portents of recession and global economic crises — all the stuff that didn’t happen.
It was a great media ride while it lasted, with flocks of economic gurus and market analysts feeding a frenzy of alarming predictions and hyperventilated commentary.”
