Apartheid Redux

I have a suggestion for these purveyors of nouveau segregation: in order to ensure compliance, they ought to have a few members of a Race Classification Board on hand to administer various tests to ensure that non-black folx are not horning in on activities reserved only for black folx.

Twice a week, the University of Waterloo athletic centre suspends its usual calendar of mid-morning swim lessons, and reserves its 25-yard pool for the exclusive use of a demographic that, in their words, does not have a good “relationship with water.”

“The aim is to get more Black Folx into a space where they haven’t always been welcomed,” reads the official description for the “Black Folx swim,” a 60-minute Black-only pool time. Users can swim lengths, practice diving or sign-up for a lesson. But they — and all the instructors — must be “Black folx.”

DEI The Friendly Skies

Dear Scott Kirby CEO @UnitedAirlines and Drag Queen practitioner,

I regret to inform you that I will no longer allow my family to fly on your airline as you have clearly placed “diversity” of pilot hiring above safety of passengers and crew. As evidenced by the near aviation catastrophe of UA Boeing 777 flight 1722 from Maui to San Francisco Dec 18th 2023, where your diverse but incompetent flight crew didn’t know which flaps were causing its near disastrous dissent, coming within 750 feet of killing every one aboard your United Airline.

I cannot tell you how many @UnitedAirlines employees have personally thanked me for my valid criticism of your careless and life threatening leadership. I look forward to your swift dismissal by UA’s board of directors before your inane actions cause the deaths of hundreds of men, women and children. After your inevitable firing you can get back to your true passion, your Drag Queen performances.

Sincerely yours,
Rob Schneider Former 1K United Airline frequent flyer.

Transgender Is A Stalking Horse For The Normalization Of Pedophilia

Step by step;

In an alarming turn of events, the Supreme Court of Canada has removed the mandatory minimum sentence for the crime of child luring, effectively placing the rights of the perpetrator above those of their victims, ignorant of the damages they and their families suffer that surely will last a lifetime.

Child luring falls under criminal code s. 172.1 and speaks to contacting or attempting to contact someone under the age of 18 with the intent to commit sexual exploitation, incest, child pornography, or sexual assault.

It is the communications that occur between the perpetrator and victim with the intended purpose of committing other offences against that child.

It is considered a hybrid offence, which allows prosecutors to choose to proceed by indictment (for more serious offences) or by summary conviction (for less serious).

The previous mandatory minimum sentence, deemed so egregious as to be a breach of the offender’s Section 12 Charter rights, was imprisonment of one year if found guilty on indictment, and six months if found guilty on summary conviction.

No Free Speech For You!

In a decision that was not surprising, given the philosophical state of the Canadian judiciary, an Ontario appeal court ruled that the regulatory body overseeing psychologists in Ontario can pretty much mandate any kind of “training” it wants to.

Peterson’s comments did not run afoul of any Canadian laws.

Rather, they were found to have contravened specific rules that exist for psychologists, a regulated profession.

“When individuals join a regulated profession, they do not lose their Charter right to freedom of expression,” says the ruling by the Ontario Divisional Court from August. “At the same time, however, they take on obligations and must abide by the rules of their regulatory body that may limit their freedom of expression.”

“The order is not disciplinary and does not prevent Dr. Peterson from expressing himself on controversial topics.”

Update from Kate: Soon to be the most watched series in the history of @realDailyWire
.

Just Like Us, Only More Oppressed

If you’ve watched the reality series Cops or Live PD, pathological selfishness is very much a staple, a defining attribute of the assorted misfits and predators. I remember one lengthy pursuit of thieves who’d robbed a store at gunpoint, terrorised its owner, and then fled the scene in a stolen car, and whose bid to escape did costly damage to other people’s property, and caused other road users to veer and crash, resulting in serious injury.

When finally apprehended, the thieves, themselves unharmed, were entirely unconcerned by the horror and destruction left in their wake, or the fact that it was all but miraculous that no-one had been killed. Instead, they were loudly indignant, as if they were the victims of the drama, heatedly objecting to the discomfort of handcuffs, and demanding to know why their phones had been confiscated. While, within earshot, injured children were being rushed to hospital.

Scenes like the above, of which there were many, may explain why progressives disliked the series, dismissing it as “copaganda”… I suspect the actual objection is not so much, as claimed, that the series portrayed the police in a sanitised or flattering light, as the officers were rarely the focus of the viewer’s attention.

The stars of each episode, if that’s the right word, were usually the lawbreakers. They, not the police, held the attention. They were generally the ones driving events, whether those events were alarming or farcical. And so, the series offered a glimpse into the mindset of the criminals – the recurring patterns of malevolence and selfishness – in their own words and by watching their own actions.

And obviously, we can’t have that. It makes pretentious sympathy much more difficult to muster.

On crime, criminals, and progressive unrealism.

Time To Leave?

If I were a resident of the Western Cape province in South Africa, I’d currently be supporting separation from the rest of the country. Failing that, I’d be looking for another country to move to.

In a post on X on Sunday, Nazier Paulsen, a Cape-based MP for the EFF, called for the execution of Cape independence supporters.

This followed a call by Paulsen for his followers to find the IP addresses of secessionists and locate where they live.

You can find this thug’s Twitter feed here. Warning: it’s all very nauseating stuff.

Wait Til They Hear About Wab Kinew

The disgrace is all theirs;

One of highest honours Manitoba bestows upon individuals has been posthumously stripped from the disgraced former director of the Winnipeg Art Gallery. […]

Kinew drew a line through Eckhardt’s signature in the ledger of recipients to the award, established in 1957 to recognize individuals who have demonstrated outstanding skills in the areas of leadership, service and community commitment.

The Thrill Of Word-Policing

Apparently, the word collision is, for Dr Madrid, much too brutal and masculine when referring to the convergence of two galaxies, and the subsequent merging of the supermassive black holes at their centres – an event that will entail the sling-shotting of countless stars and their orbiting planets, and which may release energy equivalent to around 100 million supernova explosions, and to subsequently be detectable halfway across the universe.

Come, let’s pay a visit to the publication laughingly referred to as Scientific American.

The Decline And Fall Of The American Empire

When the clock drawing hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.

When the deputy secretary of defense began assuming some of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s responsibilities on January 2, not even she knew that it was because Austin was hospitalized, two defense officials told CNN.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, the Pentagon’s number two leader, was among the senior leaders kept in the dark about Austin’s true whereabouts until Thursday, three days after the secretary checked into Walter Reed medical center following complications from an elective surgery. Not even the president was aware of Austin’s hospitalization until three days into his stay there, CNN previously reported.

The revelation that not even Hicks knew that Austin was hospitalized is sure to add to questions swirling within the administration about why his status was kept secret, not only from the public but from senior national security officials and the White House.

Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder told CNN on Sunday that Austin transferred “certain operational responsibilities that require constant secure communications capabilities” to Hicks on January 2, the day after he was admitted to Walter Reed. Throughout last week, Hicks made “some routine operational and management decisions” for the Pentagon and was authorized to support the president.

But Hicks, who was on vacation in Puerto Rico at the time, was not informed of Austin’s hospitalization until the afternoon of January 4…

I’m fairly certain that Xi was informed.

Washington Examiner: Bill Ackman goes scorched earth on MIT and Business Insider after ‘attacks on my family’

Hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman is going on the offensive against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Business Insider after the news source reported allegations his wife plagiarized portions of her dissertation at the university. Ackman specifically targeted the research university’s chairman with calls for his resignation. […]

Ackman targeted Business Insider for publishing the allegations, accusing the outlet of not giving the couple adequate time to “research their claims prior to publication.” The billionaire went even further to suggest he would execute a review of all journalists from the media company to search for plagiarism, accusing the author of the story of “trying to destroy other people’s reputations.”

“Not only did Ms. Long not contact me. I have never spoken to her in my life,” Ackman wrote. “Clearly, she had already written her article prior to contacting Fran, our head of communications at 5:19pm when she told him they would be publishing shortly this evening, which they did around 7:10pm. … This is the worst form of so-called journalism.”

Ackman further criticized the story, calling it “unfortunate that my actions to address problems in higher education have led to these attacks on my family.” Instead, the billionaire called attention to “apparent tax fraud” by Gorenberg, which he said “mainstream media failed to report” late last year.

“I guess MIT Chairman Gorenberg did not like it when I outed him for apparent tax fraud using MIT’s donor advised fund. By doing so, he put at risk MIT’s tax exempt status,” Ackman wrote in a post on X. “The mainstream media failed to report on the thread below. They might want to take a closer look now. Following up on the below thread should be a profitable exercise for an IRS whistleblower. I understand that the IRS pays attractive bounties to helpful sources.”

Public- Censors Are Trying to Trick You Into Thinking Substack Has a “Nazi Problem”

America’s censors have worked their way through complaining about virtually every last pocket of free speech left and are now returning to an old foe: Substack, the newsletter platform this publication is published on.

The latest complaint began with a piece in The Atlantic by the journalist Jonathan Katz, who laments that Substack has “become a home and propagator of white supremacy and anti-Semitism.”
