An Open Letter To Tiny House Hunters
I find that there exist two overall categories of tiny house hunters.
One group of you is the lone individual. You’re maybe young, an artist, with lots of student loan debt, and you tell us all the lie that you’re going to buy the tiny home and buy some property with it, except the truth is, your tiny home will forever haunt the yard of one of your siblings because that’s where you plant it. Or maybe you’re older — a musician gone to pasture or an aging hipster or a yarn lady — and you’re divorced or your spouse has perished in the usual way and now you just want to pare down your life. I understand that.
Another group of you are the couples.

A referendum on any proposed change to how we elect our government is a must. Not only because such a change requires the consent of the governed, but doing so would require the Liberals to actually define what the change is going to be.

So, we have a paradox. Considered both historically and in terms of its contemporary manifestations, Islam would appear to be the least liberal of religions. Nor is it easy to see why any devout Muslim would want to accommodate his religion to liberalism — especially when he sees how liberals have come to treat Christianity after having tamed it. Yet liberals by and large seem to think such an accommodation is not only possible but highly likely. Why? Is there something in Islam that liberals have seen that others have not? Or are liberal hopes delusional?

An example of revenue neutral carbon pricing would be to raise the GST or HST, essentially a broad-based tax on consumption which is what a carbon tax is, and then return all the extra money in income tax cuts, and grants to the poor who do not earn enough to pay taxes.
