A Calgary indigenous woman who knocked out a Caucasian woman’s tooth while yelling “I hate white people,” didn’t commit a racially motivated crime, a judge says.
Provincial court Judge Harry Van Harten, in a written decision, said Tamara Crowchief’s motivation for striking Lydia White was not related to racial bias.
Because she didn’t belong to a “group”.
Racism is all about power, so if you are an oppressed group then you can not be racist.
Thus hate crime laws are for white people.
So that’s why the left is trying to flood our country with people from third world countries. We need minority rights for whites!
Anyways, as per the charges of committing a “hate crime”, the prosecution probably never proved “intent”.
Well, the offender did spend over 6 months in jail, which in most cases would be a fairly severe sentence for assault. Unless there is a lot more here, I think the verdict and sentence was just.
It appears more and more so that the judges should be replaced by robots.
The stuff that todays judges come up is nothing short of bizarre.
This and the post last week of the 2 Muslim women begs the question, can a non-white person be convicted of hate crime in Canada. Someone should contact Ralph Goodale for comment, as he seems to be an authority on the issue.

Here is one that would like to suggest that the ruling class are not liberal or neo-liberal. They are socialists / fascists, to say something like crony capitalists is just to mask real fascism.

It should be remembered that lawyers are elevated to judgeships based on political contributions.

I am thinking of becoming a racist. This is way too much. I do not like the unbalanced treatment of whites vs. other groups, and I do not like the culturally induced anti-social behaviour that is being promoted among certain groups “of colour”. I would like to get back to a world where mutual respect among races was practiced, and where criminal behaviour was fairly censured and/or punished. That is not happening. No wonder why “racism” is on the rise.

Designating a crime as a “hate” crime is just a handy tool for the Law to use against someone they don’t like, at their pleasure.
When this legislation was first enacted, many of us railed against it and were shot down as dinosaurs,bigots,y’know the usual Lefty crap.
About six months after this law was passed,three thugs in Vancouver decided to go beat up a queer on a well-known “stroll” in Stanley Park. They found a victim,and beat him to death.
At trial, the perps admitted they hated gays and had deliberately gone to the Park looking for gays to beat up. They said they hadn’t intended to kill him,only rough him up.
The august Judge said the crime did NOT meet the requirements of a hate crime.
