  5. The only reason dems oppose voter ID laws is because they want illegals to vote. They all know everyone who is legal can get an ID with practically no effort. But they want illegals to vote. Some want illegals to vote because they truly feel illegals should have a right to vote and become instantly legal the moment they cross the border, others want illegals to vote because illegals vote democrat.

  7. Liberals put individuals into groups. Those groups have defined characteristics – for example all working white men are angry racist misogynist industrial polluting global warming causers. The poor uneducated eternally destitute easily confused big brother needing box the Libs put blacks isn’t surprising. These people boxes justify progressive policies and beliefs. It doesn’t matter if the individuals put into those boxes don’t fit assumptions made about them because that’s not Important if the assumptions are wrong. It’s only important that people will believe that those assumptions can be right.

They’ve been told this story since grade school, and they have to pretend like they believe it if they want to remain in the social circle they inhabit.
    Now, if you work construction or some other type of job where you actually meet black people and do stuff with them, you rapidly (hours, not days) discover that all the Liberal talking points are complete horse doody.
    But these Liberals NEVER DO. They’re the coddled darlings of the KKK’s intellectual inheritors, the American Left. They don’t work at Starbucks, or cutting lawns in the summer, or painting houses, etc. Ever.

    There is no doubt that the ivy leaguers would have something to say, as it is, that’s all they have. That’s what they are taught, the dogma of superiority and inferiority. For those that would like to get out of the chamber, there is very little to look forward to in the current media/political complex.

  13. yup Martin, but the thing is we here in SDA also use a broad brush to define people. People on both sides of the aisle have a hard time envisioning human characteristics as spectrums. This flaw in here has been pointed out several times by others in here. Tho it may be a little more prevalent on the left, it is not exclusive to the left, it’s a human characteristic that effects us all.

  15. Don’t know the answer but here’s the question: He asked blacks in New York (it looked like New York… a big city in any case) if they had ID, etc. A resounding Yes was the answer. Would he get the same answer (from Blacks and Whites) in rural Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina? He could have made his point much better if he had and I would have had my question answered.
    It’s the internet folks …. think about it before you rush to judgement.

That’s a very racist idea but it’s one advanced by the left. We conservatives oppose that thinking and get called racist because of it.

    I simply asked a question and pointed out that people in urban areas live differently than those in rural areas ….. and that somehow translates in your mind to a mental disease. That’s pathetic.
    If it’s so obvious, then let the guy go there and show that it doesn’t matter, show that poor rural (black and white) and urban have the same opportunities and conveniences. Maybe you should take a trip as well. You might find you get an edjamaction.

  24. To make your point,David in Michigan…Tell me, have you been to rural Alabama or Louisiana or Mississippi or any of those rural locations? I’m a Canuck and have been to all three. In fact, got married in 1989 on a “little plantation in Louisiana. Visiting with some of the neighboring blacks,they are NOT as stupid or ignorant as some of the whites! Great people. Friendly,out going,and way more tolerant of us whities then some of us are of them. Spent Xmas eve with a black family,supper and a few giggly pops. I remember it as one of the best we had. He11,they even taught me how to fish on the bayous and in the gulf,and actually catch something,besides a gator or water moccasin!

    No, I can’t say I ‘ve been to rural Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana.
    But I can say I have been to rural Washington, rural Idaho, rural Montana, rural Utah, rural Arizona, rural Oregon, rural Wyoming, rural North Dakota, rural Minnesota, rural Michigan, rural Ohio, rural Indiana, and rural Illinois.
    You know what I found in all those places? Just a hint, but it wasn’t stupid, incapable, uniformed people- black or white. Just like I’m sure you would find in Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana.
    And I didn’t call you any names, you just fit the description of what the white people on the video claimed. And I wrote what the blacks in the video had to say about you and yours.

    I’m baffled about where you a both coming from. I go back to my original comment and I see nothing about “stupid, incapable, uniformed people” or “stupid or ignorant” blacks. Are we even on the same page?
    What the hell are you talking about? I simply asked a question and a fair one. Suddenly I’m a “racist” (you know, that all purpose get out of jail free charge used liberally by liberals). Sure, I’m tempted to label you as morons but no, I won’t call you illiterate left wing morons because that would be wrong.
    Oh and Justthinkin, one time I attended a wedding at the Elvis Chapel in Las Vegas. The stage performers there were a friendly and showed me a good time…….they even ate at the buffet just like regular people.

  35. Dave – I’m glad you clarified. Your original post came across to me, also, as saying that it’s likely that rural folks would be less sophisticated and likely to know about/use the internet.
    We weren’t on the same page. My take was that you were saying that Ami wasn’t interviewing the right black people and that there are lots who don’t have IDs or know how to use the internet, so the story was meaningless.
    When you have three people with the same take, and you are the only one with the view that there’s nothing there, that means there was a failure of communication.
