Let’s just kick Trudeau out of Rideau, and it can be a homeless shelter. Same with Parliament. Same with every lieutenant governor residence. Same with every courthouse at every level. It is time for the decisions they make, TO AFFECT THEM FIRST. Truduea gets to live in a tent on a windmill plantation. Trudeau gets to walk instead of fly. No more police protection not afforded to the deplorable normals.

In 2016 Canadians through foreign aid gave the world about $4 billion, and to the CBC, + $1 billion.
I think that no more than $1 billion ought to be spent on foreign aid, 0 on the CBC, and of that foreign aid the entire amount should be spent on clean water projects in the Americas, easily the most cost effective method of ensuing wellness.
None on Africa, none in Asia.

Lucky for us that most of our seniors will freeze to death because they can’t afford the electrical bills. Otherwise there would be no money to give to foreigners.

The CBC Toronto HQ, on the Wellington side beside their heated underground garage, has some of the choicest grates for homeless to sleep warmly on if they choose to sleep outside.
If they’ve ever been allowed to sleep there for more than a few minutes before shuffled along, I’ll eat my entire puffer jacket. It doesn’t happen.

Mine too. The other day I was contemplating the number of charitable donations I was going to make prior to year-end. I usually send about $500. per year. With what we are being faced with this coming year, I decided not to donate. I feel bad but we are pensioners and can’t keep on paying more for the government’s follies.
Can you imagine the boost to the economy if he had spent that money in Canada. He could have left in a bag at the corner of Jane and Finch and we would have seen a net gain in the economy. As it is, the taxpayers get nothing and the homeless are still homeless. Oh wait, we got refugees who want to kill us so there’s that.
I am afraid this is where everybody cuts. Sad to say, I am thinking the same, especially when you know cost of living will be up with things like the carbon tax. This is not good for Canada. Libs are extremely short sighted.

Harper was bringing in refugees as they were manageable — and that includes costs to communities schools and the health care system. Libs pay no attention to the actual costs. In the fall I buy about that amount of locally grown spuds and carrots directly from farmers and give it to the food bank. None of this is “paying more for the government’s follies”. I’m a pensioner too but this is one effective charitable donation that stays in the community.
Every time any political party asks me for money, I tell them I’ll consider it only when they make food bank donations as tax deductible as political party donations.
Give to the local food bank, preferably locally grown food or at least Canadian grown food. So called ‘charitable organizations’ usually spend most of their donations on ‘administration’ and often have managers making six figure incomes.
