Regarding Charles Martel, the article states ” Islam never again penetrated militarily as far into European territory” but that’s not the case. A huge Muslim army beseiged Vienna for two months in 1683 until being defeated by an army led by King John III Sobieski of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.

With respect to the post about the Supreme Court – our late sister had a pithy comment about Canada’s indigenous people ” Here’s a thought, stop beating up your wife, stop knifing your brother or brother-in-law, start taking care of your children and maybe, you will not end up in prison” I know, such a radical idea! I am a 74year old white woman (so inherently I am “privileged”). My only interactions with the police are as follows: twice when my house in Toronto was broken into and robbed; once when I was speeding on the Trans-Canada Highway through that section in Moose Jaw, and twice when my car was hit (once in a parking lot and once when I was stopped to make a left hand turn). I would think that many other people would have similarly stories to tell.

No surprise to the locals. Public education in Chicago is a sh*tshow and has been for many decades. Education was politicized and the teachers’ union and the votes it delivered ecame extremely powerful.
